An Apology
Afternoon guys,
I've created a new account, because my previous one was quite rightfully deactivated by the administrators.
I've come back briefly to offer my apologies for the thread titled "Sparring with Kell Brook" - which by now I think you've realised was a false story. I'll explain my motivation behind posting it, and although I don't deserve my apology to be accepted as I'm not a known face around here, hopefully at least you'll realise that I do feel bad for what I did.
The reason i did it, is because i have so much respect for you guys, I wanted to feel accepted in the community, now my boxing knowledge is laughable when compared with the majority of posters here. I had a thought and ran with it - it was along the lines of "I wonder how these guys would react if they came in contact with someone who was a sparring partner for a relatively new face in boxing?" Wrong I know - but I seem to suffer from not thinking about my actions until after the fact.
Didn't expect such a positive response, and having that respect, that sense of belonging and interest from others made me feel important for once - so i ran with it. I feel like a prize tool for doing so, but its difficult to explain what its like to have a community you respect actually showing a genuine interest in what I had to say. I kept it as realistic as possible - not thinking of the consequences so for those who feel "wound up" or "hoaxed" that was never my intention at all. There was no malice in my writing, it was all really done to make myself seem more important than I am. For that, I'm sorry.
I do feel like a complete moron for doing it, I apologise if I have in any way shape or form bent anyones nose out of shape and also if I've brought this forum in any way into disrepute, it was honestly not my intention.
So all I can say is I'm sorry. I don't deserve your respect after such a stupid thing to do, but I love writing, and when so many respected members showed an interest, I was like a child who couldn't control himself.
Kind of glad it ended when it did.
Apologies also to the mods/admins for making them waste their time deciding if it were real or not - I honestly don't deserve your time nor respect for doing something so stupid.

Immense respect to you for this, JabMachine.
I'm certain you will have made many friends by setting the record straight. As a gesture of goodwill I shall remove the other thread immediately.
Thank you for doing this.

Haha got to respect the man there for coming on an admitting it was a hoax. Some creative writing aswell may I add. It was probably good thing it was nipped in the bud before your 'foray' in the wildcard gym!
Respect and I also hope you stick around

Re: An Apology
Its ok JM I have met many compulsive liars in my time. Even went out with one for about 6 months until I got sick of her sociopathic behaviour. Your not the first compulsive liar I have come across and im sure you wont be the last. I also appreciate some people need to lie all the time to make them feel better about their own lives. Im sure you probably got a nice little kick out of making everyone else believe you had some importance in the boxing world. Lying can also be a buzz as well for some sociopaths like yourself
Either way...no hard feelings brother

Troll points x1000 for the whole thing, very convincing writing...so detailed that I couldn't see it not being genuine.
Think Steffan probably gets a few troll points for his condecending acceptance of your apology too.

Agree with above comments, no harm done and no hard feelings (although I did call you a wally earlier!).
Huge respect gained for coming back where 99% of people would have run and/or signed in under a different name.
Very convincing though shame as it was one of my favourite threads!

Fair play to you for the apology, must have took some to do it, no harm done and gave Windy chance to play Miss Marple which he always loves.

Re: An Apology
Sorry Jonesy but I guess I thought more of you guys than to come on and say;
"lol soz I lied"
Thought you all deserved a bit more than that. It wasn't a troll or a wind up - they're done with the intention of making people annoyed or upset.
Thanks for your kindness so far guys (even Steffans backhanded comment)
You're making me feel even worse for doing it in the first place!

Poor woman - she must have thought windy's desire would have dimmed down by now - yet here he is 86 years later still playing away from home

Fair play, that was some very creative writing.
If anything the whole thing has probably done you a world of good on here, you're now the man that never was. Good old JabMachine he sparred Kell Brook! Or not. Who cares? Nice one, let's all move on.
*tries to cancel bets for Brook KO rounds 7-10*

Re: An Apology
Would have really loved it if Kel brook had lost badly and turned around and said I had a crap sparring partner We would never have believed that you made it up. Mods should have waited till after the fight just to draw it all out.
Re: An Apology
Haha, King I hope I'm not known forever as "that tool who lies" though.
I'd keep your money on Kell though. I'll be putting some on him myself.

God help you if something amazing happens though. Let's say you bump into Kenny Anderson who for some reason tells you he's going down in the fourth... I wouldn't try and peddle it if I were you!!

What the hell is wrong with you. How can you lie to us. I do not except you're apology just yet. You have to grow on me.

Fair play lad, good retraction. And ignore Jonesy.
Though in fairness, he's now looking worse than you - taking some of the heat off so you should probably thank him!
Understand your points entirely re inclusion, but PBF/Shantel recovered from vehemently pretending to be Floyd Mayweather even when he got IP checked by the mods and was found to be in the Yorkshire Dales or somewhere similar! Sure you'll be fine...

One big positive that has come from this whole situation has to be the fact JM was rumbled. I read on a number of other boxing forums and can't help thinking he might not have been 'caught' by the mods there.
