Fantasy Mock draft rules and Round #1
First topic message reminder :
1. There will be a full fantasy 7 round draft, do not worry if you don't follow College Football or have in depth knowledge of players, you can visit the following sites to get an idea of players available.
http://www.drafttek.com/
http://www.sidelinescouting.com/ This site gives a break down of each individual prospective recruit.
http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/college_big_board_rankings.html another in depth site of each player, also position wise.
http://walterfootball.com/
2. Trades are allowed but only on this year's picks, if you wish to trade please PM the coach you wish to trade with when both GM agree to the trade can you PM me the deal or Pr4WN if you dont here from me. You must trade within the trade value chart.
3. Once a GM has made the pick, can he please PM the next GM to let them know they are On the Clock e.g. The Colts GM pm the Rams, to let him know its his pick, the Rams will PM the Vikings etc.
4. If you are not around to make your pick i.e. you are going away or will be off line or going out, can you PM your choice of picks to me and PR4WN ideally you will send 3-4 choices just incase the GM before you makes the same choice, if you are unsure then you can just advise to take BPA, which is the Best Player Available at the time of your pick regardless of position, or if you want to be more specific BPA at X position (e.g. you want the BPA at WR)
5. To start with there will be no time limit as I am sure the first 2 rounds will go quickly at least within the next week, after round 2, it will be case of wait and see.
6. When making your pick, can you please also add their position, college, height and weight, you can also add a picture as well.

Can somebody list all the "upcoming" picks on the Original thread please. There have been a couple of trades and I think it will help going forward with trade "plotting" if you can see a few picks ahead

Yeah thats a bit better Derby, might be an idea to have a list of all the picks which have been traded for the later rounds too, so say something like Falcons 4th rounder -> Browns -> Bears. Just to keep track of trades, but I appreciate that might be a lot of effort!

Re: Fantasy Mock draft rules and Round #1
***TRADE***
The Green Bay Packers have traded there 1st round pick (#28) and their 3rd (#91) with the Pittsburgh Steelers for there 1st round pick (#24) and their 4th rounder (#119).
Trade Value: Pittsburgh gives (740 + 56 = 796), Green Bay (660 + 136 = 796)
99% certain those are the correct 3rd and 4th round picks for the teams as they move about in the later rounds from the looks of things.
----------------------------------------------------------
Tampa is still on the clock, followed by the Packers
Pick will be made via one of the Mod's once I email them my list of two players.

Re: Fantasy Mock draft rules and Round #1
Rounds 2-7
• In subsequent rounds, teams with the same record rotate draft positions regardless of whether or not they made the playoffs. The only exception is the Super Bowl teams, who always pick last.

Yeah, as the draft moves through the rounds, teams with the same record switch around places. The strength of schedule tiebreaker sets the order for the 1st round and then after that, those teams with the same record alternate places. So, for example, Miami, Carolina and Buffalo all finished 6-10. Setting aside the fact that in real life, the tie between Miami and Carolina is going to be broken by a coin flip because they also had identical schedule strengths, in our draft Miami picked 8th, Carolina picked 9th and Buffalo picked 10th in the 1st round. So, in the 2nd round Carolina will pick 8th, Buffalo will pick 9th and Miami will pick 10th. In the 3rd it will be Buffalo 8th, Miami 9th and Carolina 10th (or at least it would have been had they not traded this pick to Chicago for Greg Olsen). Obviously I'm making no allowance here for any trades that might have been done in our own wee draft that I've lost track of!
