Ed Kalman has signed a two year contract extension that will keep him at Glasgow until May 2014. He is now the 12th Glasgow player to extend his contract.
Duncan Weir, Rob Harley, Ryan Wilson, Chris Fusaro, Ryan Grant, Ruaridh Jackson, Chris Cusiter, Stuart Hogg, Finlay Gillies, Peter Horne and James Eddie have already signed new contracts while Sean Lamont will join Glasgow at the end of the season.
So far Richie Gray is the only player leaving the club at the end of the year though Barclay and Beattie are probably going.

Barclay and Beattie arn't what they were, the Killers B's were supposed to be onwe of the best back rows in rugby, but now none of them are even starting for Scotland. Losing Barclay and Beattie isn't as bad as it would have been a few years ago.

Glasgow are really showing signs of progression, in a play off place (though i doubt they will end the season there), moving to a ground of their own, and getiing some keys players back. Things are looking far better for Glasgow than it has for some time.

Its great to see the commitment and continuity in personnel at Glasgow. The future does look brighter for Glasgow, and judging by penning contracts, the players ultimately think the same!

It would be great to see Glasgow get into the semi finals again.

I see that David Lemi has decided to go to Worcester at the end of the season, which is both a shame and understandable for him once Rory popped up on the scene.

Lemi is a better winger, however...

King, to be fair to the Bs, Brown is injured otherwise would have been starting, Barclay is being kept out by Rennie playing out of his skin, and hmm, then there is the enigma that is Johnnie Beattie chin

You're right that their loss will not be as hard felt as it might have been a year or two ago, now that we've seen the likes of Fusaro, Harley and Wilson develop

Tis true, GC, but Lemi was only ever brought in as short-term cove r for DTH

Surely Lemi has a Scottish great great great grandfather or somesuch.
David McLemi and Tim McVisser would be an awesome combination.

Jason White on his way back to Glasgow from Clermont in the summer - just the man to mentor a callow back-row (minus Barclay and Beattie?)

Is that confirmed ASBO? I'm not convinced that's a great move, unless it's in a coaching/player development position. He was utterly dreadful for the Baa Baas.
