Some nice entries.

Assuming there could have been some equalising to cover time lags...would love to have seen peak McEnroe vs peak Laver at Wimbledon.
Similarly, peak Federer vs peak Sampras at same venue.
Peak Nadal vs. peak Borg at the French.

For me it's not the question who I'd play but who I'd like to be able to play like, and it would be Nole, any day, I'd be thrashing everyone in my way .

Lydian. I was lucky enough to see the only Pete-Rog match, at Wimbledon in 2001, and although neither was at their peak it was still a terrific match.
I know I've mentioned this before, but this was a match that really only took on a great significance about two or three years later. Not sure there's been any other matches that have proved so pivital, retrospectively.
Obviously a Sampras of, say, 96/97 vintage against a Fed of 05-07 vintage would be some match.

PS: Who does he play in the final, do you care to predict?

It's too far ahead to predict but if Murray gets to the final I would have to guess either Djokovic or Nadal based on who he meets in the semi-final and based on current and recent performances ... (yep I know this sounds boring but the top players have been incredibly consistent in performance levels).

Anybody choosing to play Nadal or Nole must have alotta time on their hands.
