I play with a Kaka style player behind the front two and play the through balls. Never fails !

I play on Xbox and i don't really change each teams formation or anything, maybe sub a few players but that's it.

What buttons do you guys use alot? On PS3 or Xbox, my favourite buttons seem to be Y and RT on xbox lol. I just try and play throughballs all the time!

My tactics are to wait until KB gets someone sent off and then scrape a result.

Or to ping in crosses that I then head either over the bar....wide...or straight at his keeper.

I always pick a pacy team and just change the quick tactics to : Defense & Counter Attack - works very well and if protecting a goal lead then Ultra Defensive is literally "Parking the bus" lol

If I'm playing against someone who is rated better than me or is genuinely better offensively I'll usually play a 5-4-1 formation with a target man playing behind the lone poacher.

If I think I can beat the opponent I'll play a 5-3-2, 2 big men upfront, get the balls in for headers.

When I play Fifa against friends we'll usually play it only for 90 minutes without extra time, bit more authentic that way. So I'll always go with trying to get a draw with sneaking a goal in there.

Using Stoke:

4-4-2 if opponent is 4 stars or less, Carew and Jones up front, hoofball tactics.

Against opponents over 4 stars, 5-3-2, with Faye, Huth and Shawcross at CB, Jones and Carew up front, with Whitehead and Delap as Defensive mids and Fuller as attacking mid. OR 4-5-1, with Carew up front and Fuller playing behind.

Higganbotham must take all penalties and free kicks.

I'm really defensive and spread the ball around no matter what team I am or who I'm playing. I have two friends who when they play each other they go flat out attack and it's always 9-10 or 12-12, and then one of them plays me and it's 3-2 or 2-0 to me.

My no1 Fifa tactic is to buy Fifa on impulse, get home and play it for half an hour, realise its rubbish, throw it in a corner then put PES on
