Absolute tragedy and I wish I hadn't read it but, if anyone, and it can happen to anyone, ever feels they have no solutions to whatever is troubling them please please speak to someone. There are always other options. Never think you have to face this alone.

I know what you mean, but surely 'condolences' would be more appropriate?

With respect I don't think this is the place for this news and I would apreciate it if the mods pulled this one, sorry - Tragic

Ruby - I dont see why this is an inappropriate place for it. It is a tragic piece of news about an IRB referee.

Without getting drawn into anything, I meant all the best for the future- in terms of moving on and getting over it. But yep, condolences would work too.

The tragedy here is the young boy, still innocent. Why would you do that?

Red - I know what you mean but we are not going to talk about him as a linesman and the tragedy that has happened here has no place on the board IMO for open discussion - It's just my view mate - I'm sure we all feel for the family and all those involved and we hope somehow they can get through this devastating event

Heart curdling, no words to properly describe it. RIP to an innocent young man.
Cannot possibly imagine what the mother is going through.

I agree with Ruby - this is tragic but should not be discussed here. His connection with rugby is irrelevant.

Sorry if I have given offence to anyone. I felt this would have been of concern to people on the board

Why is it irrelevant?
No matter where it's discussed the feeling's the same.
But let's not get into a fuss any further I say, an innocent child is gone and for that due respect and compassion should be shown first and foremost.

No offence Penfro - never is from you and bringing it to our attention is rightful and just. I just find it difficult on here - its news and important at that but I dont think its for discussing - Cheers mate.

Terrible news for the family and my heart goes out to the boys mother and siblings. Absolutely aweful and shows what depression can do to the most sane people!! Get help, if you feel suicidal!!
