how much are the English lads getting as a wage from their clubs? must be shed loads more than us Cymru are paying cos all of our boys are jumping on the French money train!-cant blame them as the life of a pro rugby player is very short BUT.................................

If the English lads were getting shed loads of money then I think a shorter trip than the one to France might have been more enticing for the Welsh guys ... closer to home, closer to their International commitments, English speaking and still picking up a big cheque.

Plus,I think the Welsh probably like the French league better than the English one...might think it suits their game better and that they can hone their talents even more in it.

There has previously been an English exodus to France. With the Welsh now tightening their belts the English may have more financial muscle but in the past they certainly haven't, the Ospreys in the Galactico days had a pretty hefty wage budget that most AP clubs wouldn't have been able to support.

France and Japan have the big cash and England's spending power varies club to club.
