Far too early to make any assumptions, still have FA and the draft to go.

The 49ers will be there. They were almost there last year had the ball bounce differently and not hit Kyle Williams' knee.
With a few additions to the offence and a full closed/ pre-season for Jim Harbaugh to work with they will surely be very close again.

i disagree.
niner are good but the hawks cards and rams will all be better this year and the NFC west wont be so easy, that potentialy gives them 3 P/O games and i dont trust simth to get them there,
From the NFC, im going chicago bears, IMO theyre gonna get cutler some weapons in F/A and with forte running it at a more stellar level than last year and cutler with finally a No1 Reciver to go to this is their year, barring injures.
from teh AFC im going Housten Texan.
Even with the colts having Luck the division is still there for the taking and with foster and schaub and andre johnsen they will have a good offence to compliment there great Dfense.(if they resign williams)
However this my view and could be spectaculary wrong

Re: Super Bowl 47
Right now I'll say the Giants, Eagles, Packers, Saints or Falcons vs the Patriots, Ravens, Steelers or Texans.
I'll put a bet on a couple from each conference in late August.
I know the Giants and Eagles are two of the least likely on paper and both have hard schedules ahead. But one of them has to make the post season and as we know from the '11 Giants, '10 Packers, '08 Cardinals, '07 Giants, '05 Steelers, after Christmas anything is possible.

The Packers will be there I think, reckon they will be seriously pi$$ed at blowing their chances this season and will go full throttle all year and make it to the big dance
From the AFC I could see the Texans being real contenders but then falling just short, Ravens will always fall short whilst they have Flacco and Steelers look like they will be making a lot of changes so I can't see past the Patriots again
Of course this is in a dreamworld, using my sensible head it's clear that it'll be a Jaguars / Panthers final. Jags will win and Gabbert will go 24 of 26, 373 yards, 3 TD's and the Superbowl MVP

Re: Super Bowl 47
niners should get there, aldon smith will be starting and there will be some new weapons on offense, so we will still have the best D in the league, but with a vastly improved offense

If the Miami Dolphins can get a decent quarter back they may shock a few. The Cincinatti Bengals could improve again with Dalton and Green having a year's experience, plus they have a big salary cap space and two 1st round draft picks.

Re: Super Bowl 47
49ers - Texans
Slightly hopeful thinking but if we get some decent receivers for Smith, and the defence continues to play at a high level we could easily make it. As for the Texans, they are in effect my number 2 team so probably a very biased Super Bowl pick. I think they will also need another receiver, but if their team stays healthy they could easily make another big step next year.
A slightly more unbiased pick would be Packers - Patriots.
Both teams were close this season, and I can only see them getting better. The Patriots will surely add a deep threat (Brandon Lloyd?) and anyone could improve their secondary. Couple that with Andre Carter's return to the pass rush, and the 2 rookie running backs possibly stepping up this year, and I can see them being one of the teams to beat once again

AFC - Patriots/Texans
NFC - Saints/Packers/49ers/Bears/Lions even maybe
I should probably just list who it definitely won't be. The list would be shorter!

Re: Super Bowl 47
I'll go for Texans v Packers.
I think the AFC South projects to be fairly weak next year, so as long as the Texans can keep the likes of Foster, Andre Johnson and Schaub on the pitch, I think they have a good chance of earning a first round bye in the playoffs. If their defense continues to play as it did this season, they have as good a shot as anyone in the AFC.
Packers - probably a boring pick, but they will be extra motivated after somewhat blowing it this year.

Re: Super Bowl 47
Way early atm, but I'll go along-
NFC- Giants (tough schedule, repeat unlikely....wishful thinking), Packers, Saints, 49ers, Lions
AFC- Pats, Texans, Steelers
...but anything can happen, I'll be expecting to make the play-offs at least.

No...
I'm going to be boring and predict Packers vs Texans
a) because its too early to judge so i'm not putting masses of though in.
b) it would match my favorite team versus my second (we both joined the NFL together)
c) They are both talented and should return starters at a bunch of key positions
d) The Texans should win there division, the AFC North will be hard as always and they will knock each other out of stride, I dislike New England and Tebowmania was a one year thing.
