Whisper it quietly but have Youngs and Flood found some form?
Both look to be getting back on form after todays match, not completely there yet but about 80-85%
Both looked sharp, Youngs passed and ran well and took his try very well. Floods kicking from hand was his best this season.
Suddenly i'm a little less nervous about traveling to Paris.

Not had a chance to see the game, does sound like they benefited form being behind an utterly dominant pack though. But Youngs running in for a try shows what Enlgnad have been missing form their half backs.
Expect to see these two come on at 50 minutes with England 20 points down.

To be honest I could have ran the show behind that pack performance....
Lets give them a few more games....

They were playing against weak opposition.

Really? A team that had won 6 on the bounce is weak opposition?

They need a few more games to make such a claim as being back to form. You could also whisper that Hodgson played well yesterday.

Agree re Youngs - he needs time away back at Leicester to really rediscover his game. Shame about Care - 3rd arrest shows he must have problems and therefore we won't be seeing him for a while in an England shirt.

Re: Whisper it quietly but have Youngs and Flood found some form?
Ok so Youngs and Flood both played well yesterday but a word of caution, particularly with Youngs, he did this playing for Leicester. The game plan at Tigers allows him to play at his best. The number of times he took those 3 steps along the line, challenging the defence, before sending forwards through gaps and over the gain line was numerous. These are the same steps he gets lambasted for taking at England. If England start using their forwards like Leicester did yesterday and get them on the same wavelength as Youngs then he becomes an invaluable weapon for England, like he was down in Australia.

Youngs works well with Flood. He can't seem to work with any other fly half.
Youngs needs to play with his comfort blanket Flood and a dominant pack.
Can't see Lancaster dropping Dickson and Farrell though.

He actually did. Further proof that he is a WINGER not a CENTRE. Who the Hell though Banahan was a 13, never mind a 12?

The last person who saw the effect of a side capable of kicking the ball behind him, and who saw his ability to offload?

That would be the mighty manager Martin Johnson.

Reasonably fair point

A very sympathetic TMO? Yes, we have certainly been missing that.

Martin Johnson could have picked Anthony Allen or Brad Barritt instead.
