So in a nutshell you only need 1 good performance in 5 to get on the shortlist for player of the tournament.

Aoife Bella Foden. I reckon he will play to be honest but depends on how much he can train this week.

I'm clearly not seeing what others are in Cuthbert. Has looked distinctly average to me every time I've seen him.

I prefer him at 12, but has proved this tournament that he can play very well at 13 as well.
I remember he used to get dogs abuse in predos when I first put him in my side!

Did he ever get picked on at 12? Find that odd as he's been a good 12 for a few seasons at least. Can understand him getting picked on at 13 as he didn't really play there

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Got criticised wherever I played him, main two criticisms being poor defender and rubbish hands. At 13 also got that he wouldn't work outside Nonu as he would need a playmaking 12 inside him to be effective. (Roberts???)

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
In theory they shouldn't really work and I think if Wales didn't have North/Cuthbert I don't think they would work as well.
You could possibly nullify Roberts/JD (as we did) but when you have 4 huge carriers in the backline it's hard to stop.

Would have backline of
9. Phillips
10. Sexton/Farrell
11. North
12. Fofana
13. Tuilagi
14. Bowe
15. Halfpenny
Don't get all the Cuthburt fuss either, he's a big lump but North takes out so many more runners and I've been impressed with him in the big games - defensively amazing.
Fofana has impressed me, knew he was a good player, but didnt think he was that good.
Bowe's back on track as well, one of my favourite players to watch!

Agree with you pooly apart would have Pape instead of POC who has only played half a tournament time it finishes although was in great form.

Pete I said the other week JD has improved out of sight. He was poor when first playing for wales.
I dont think cuthbert is all that currently although will improve lots as he is young.
Don't think Roberts and JD is a great pairing they can be nullified as both are not greatest handlers. JD has really added to his game both pace and handling wise. He has been excellent

Keep your eye out for a kid called Jordan Burns coming through the Quins academy. Went to watch their A game against the Chiefs last night and this kid although not the biggest has got some serious gas.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Came on for Stegman on the right wing at half time. Made one stunning burst from his own half, gassed about 4 players but James Lightfoot-Brown got across and tackled him about a yard from the line and he knocked on.
Was a really good game as it goes, both teams tried to chuck it around a bit and there was no aimless kicking.

Worcester got Blair Cowan a while back too - I signed him, but dont think I ever put him in my squad and then forgot about it! Really good player, but with the 40 limit for next season its a bit hard to justify the older championship players in a squad.
Can't believe Rob Webber is now out for the season too - poor bloke, now 18 Wasps players who would have been out for more than 2 months this season!
