I reckon Irish will win. Tuilagi and Joseph battle is exciting me a little too much.

Gibson was holding, deserved a clip. Maybe not a knee.

Youngs a dirty player. Likely to get a ban for the punches and knee. Gibson shouldn't hold him down but Youngs shouldn't have reacted.

In open play and on TV. thats a 4 week ban at least. hard to get any form back if he now gets a ban.

Good game, some huge hits. Youngs not dirty, just reacts. More a short temper than dirty.

It was a very good game. Flood deservedly MoM with Leicester winning. Thought Gibson was good as well, very clever player.

If irish had won Homer would have got MOM but i thought Flood deserved it he looked sharp. wish he had a turn of pace it would make him so much more dangerous

Anyone give me a run down of Quins v Bath yesterday? Worth watching or was it as dour as the score suggests?
How'd Marler go?? Seen reports say the Quins scrum was on top again. Fearns looking any good after his injury.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
I watched it today. Marler and johnstone got on top in second half after maybe even first half. Bad game. Marler got a yellow.
Easter, Robson and Gray were the pick of the pack and did lots of carrying and tackling. Fasivalu came on and scored the winner.
Care had a poor game and was replaced. Attwood went well for bath. Mercer and Cuthbert had stinking games.
Man of match was between Lowe, Robson. Gray and Brown for me. Brown is having some season.
Lowe played really well in the centre and threatened constantly. plays like hipkiss. very strong on his feet

Really attacks the line though Flood, so different to Farrell.
Not been overly impressed with Gibson this 2nd half of season, wonder if he can kick on?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
agree you need someone to challenge the line. watch carter yesterday or the new nz sensation at 10 barret they ask questions all the time.
carter was a bit rusty yesterday but had some sublime moments. shows quality to come back so well in first 40 back.
starts goal kicking next week

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
that was gibsons 1st game of 2012 i think. and his first start at 8 so have to give him credit.
tigers so powerful upfront. irish lack of tighthead has killed us this season. also kennedy such a weak scrummager hasnt helped. skiv should improve us in that department next season.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
I like Gibson , think he could be a class act but i'v said that about so many young England players and they just go to waste.
Catching up on Rebels games and my word James O'Connor has to be considered the best player in world rugby now in terms of skill and ability. I think he'll be Australia's 10 come the summer and for years to come. Cooper takes too long to get his backs moving whilst O'Connor gets it on the gain line and shifts it wide and in front to give them something to run on too.
Unless it's a set backs move all Australia do is go left to right and try and compensate for not having the best set piece.

I'm catching up on all there games mate.
Steve he stands deep half the time then dances about and then goes wide , needs Barnes at 12 to do the thinking for him.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
I couldn't disagree more. Oz won the Tri nations without Barnes in the midfield and with Cooper at 10.
Cooper ran the best attacking side in the world last season without a creative 12 and he seemed to do alright. Cooper isn't the only 10 to drop a little deeper when the quick ball isn't there. Every single one of them does it as it's the only thing you can do. The slow ball means an organised defence which has to be maneuvered around by the playmaker and in order to create the gaps then a player must give himself the extra time on the ball.
To suggest JOC is more of a line threat is to me absolutely absurd. A very good player who is a good 10 and could potentially be a great 10 but not yet as gooder fly half as Cooper.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
He does it on quick ball though!
He's a pretty average 10 who has been overhyped because he throws ludicrous off loads and they come off. Everyone remembers the 20 metre back door ball in S14 a few years back but forget that horror pass that sent Tommy Bowe 90 meters down field.
