Cheers Driver, just watched it again - its a huge handoff! Didnt realise how fast the bloke is, bet Coetzee is still picking himself up off the floor from it!

http://www.rugbydump.com/2012/03/2442/dean-mumms-huge-hand-off-on-the-sharks-marcel-coetzee

I've always rated Cipriani - think the England set up really damaged him 4 years ago. He should be playing behind a massive pack at Sale next season, which can only be good for him.

Just watching AP highlights. Gloucester game looked cracking, great try from
Burns.

Commentator just said JSD touches down for 2nd prem try of season, that surely can't be right?!?!

Reckon he will end up with a 6 month ban for what he did and he wont ever play for England now. Such an idiot what he did - when's his hearing? Think Hartley's is on Wednesday - havent seen any video evidence of what he did wrong?

He should get banned for at least twice as long as he injured Hawkins - and it should start at the beginning of next season, as he'd only be banned for a month or two if it came in now.

Will that be Glaws marque signing then? They are going to have an awesome backline next year!

Gloucester need to sign some front 5 forwards.

Although I agree

9. Cowan
10. Burns
11. Sharples
12. Twelvetrees
13. Trinder
14. May
15. Morgan

is a very handy backline. Especially if Burns keeps playing so well, currently the form 10 in the league and playing great stuff.

then they have guys like Robson, Mills and I think the younger Burns coming through their youth ranks! Did Burns, Sharples, Trinder, May and Morgan all come through their youth structure?

Starting to get very impressed with Sarries youth system, they have some great talent coming through there now!

I have Quins (h), Irish (a), Falcons (a), Chiefs (h) with Falcons at home in the Heineken Cup sandwiched between Quins and Irish.

No easy games, and I know Falcons have to go to Gloucester as well, and entertain Sale this week I think. Would not like to predict the finishing order.

I've got Exeter (a), Saracens (h), Worcester (a), Gloucester (h)

Probably need to win all 4 to finish in the play offs. 3 wins should get me top 6.

Didn't realise I also had Sale away in Heineken Cup. Forget about that!

Pooly
In answer to your question jsd probably has scored 2 tries this season. Barnes and greenwood were highlighting his new role on rugby club when saying he is in form of his life and should be involved with England. In attacking positions he almost shares first receiver role and plays a creative role.

Would like to see his assist stats. Often burns stands fb or 12 and jsd 10 and launches attacks. With may, trinder and sharples etc it really works. Gloucester have the most fluid backline around all interchange.

We scored 3 in 10
Minutes Saturday but could not win any ball to Win the game. Lawson, murphy and brown cannot scrum for toffee

Looked a great game on the highlights

JSD has got 6 tries this season, as remember him scoring 2 in Heineken Cup and same in LV. Always been a huge fan, would have got a lot of caps if it wasnt for illness and injuries, was pretty much in line with him when he mugged off Lomu for that great try at Twickenham.

Took me ages to find this one! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lA7OKP9N06g&feature=related

Who are the best English wings at the moment? Think Strettles great in defence, but would like to see us get a more attacking and creative winger - am sure Ashton will get back on form again soon enough.

It's a real open bag I think Chris, nobody is standing out.

I thought Sharples would be a revelation but was poor against France. Not sure if the occasion or quality but he should go on SA tour to find out.

Ashton, Strettle are leading the way I think and should be persevered with. Strettle grew through the 6N I thought and Ashton is on form top draw.

After that it's a real mixed bag, could see some surprises I reckon. Like to see May eased in though.

Jsd defence is rock solid and one of best in prem.
That extra bulk has helped him. Great on the rugby club when they were showing how glos use him to truck it up a lot and how he breaks tackles with his strength.

So unlucky with injury as was James forrester.

Think jsd is one of the greatest players I have watched live ever. Seen him crucify Heino games and at the top level. You could not write his injury misfortunes. Always when he looked set for a run of internationals

i want to see how Wade develops, such a shame he is out injured now - real creative spark, could potentially be a new version of Shane Williams. Want to see him tested more in defence. Love watching him play, was one of those players at Wasps where each time he got the ball people would stand up because they didnt know what he was going to do.

Best runner of the ball I think Ive seen - there's a video on youtube of him in his season with the England 7s team. He's a player I think they should get to train with England's full team and get him working with the best coaches etc.

If JSD defence was strong he'd be in England setup without doubt. Always been his major flaw, certainly not one of best in prem?!?!!

The thing with Lancaster is he seems to look for solid defence first and then anything else a bonus.

Think this article sums it up re jsd and injuries and his defence.
http://www.rugbyspectator.com/2011/02/two-big-squad-call-ups-for-england…but-will-they-play/

Forwards can play on longer at international level wings and more explosive positions cannot as they lose a yard past 30. Picking dowson shows
