Re: International gone?
And I had a lovely message all lined up and printed out and spell checked about why Ireland don't need a Leader...............................
Wasted!
So has the Six Nations been called off? They can't very well go on ahead without our comments. The coaches need our inputs!

Re: International gone?
There are a minority of people on these forums who take things far too seriously. There are always going to be WUMs. Some people just can't take criticism in general, and resort to personal abuse. I've been accused of wumming for simply stating an opinion on a player. This is a bit ridiculous.

Re: International gone?
Thanks for the link guys and the heads up, at first i thought it was just me so i wanted to run it by everyone first.
Shame it's gone but can see why the mods would be sick of spending half their life moderating childish bickering!
Or is it because Wales look set to Slam this six nations and they couldn't live with gloaters like me

Just to confirm, it hasnt gone permanently, just for a short time whilst we go through the posts and see what needs to be done as far as editing/deleting/bans etc.

You must have humour on 606. It's a must. It can't be a machine of info coldly transmitted like an office in Orwell's 1984.
And the case will always be that one person's humour is another person's wum (bloody hate that word). People who get snarly and are personally bitter and insulting are obviously tough to handle and make rooms uncomfortable....but so too are the straight laced guys who lost their humour chip somewhere in their cot many years ago. If you can't take a little humourous flourish at the expense of your team then 606 shouldn't be a place for you.

Huge difference between banter and habitual baiting.

In the eye of the beholder, Cymroglan; in the eye of the beholder. If you see a post written by an habitual baiter, is it not best to bypass it and therefore not offer oxygen to his flame, or should you, as many seem to do here, enter the room knowing they are going to be offended, reading something they know will offend them and reacting to said offence as if they were somehow forced to look upon the offending words.
When I'm in Dublin, there are safe areas and not so safe alleys. I don't blame the muggers if I foolishly decide to take the cinematic dark alley shortcut when there is a nice open street before me.
