with barely any of the defence that will start games after this window, so not sure how people can judge us when they they haven't even seen our first choice defence yet!

i mean ashley young at wing back and blackett thrown in the deep end wont get near our team now

Any other teams willing to pay over the odds for him?

Zeki Fryers joins Crystal Palace meaning that argument between Manchester United and Tottenham over him means nothing.

Would prefer a DM that can play CB then a forward

I think he's more than capable of having a Sturridge-like revival at Arsenal but he's also capable of being a donkey. Could go either way and if it's the former, Wenger will have pulled off a very good move. Can he lead the line on his own though? I don't think so. Hernandez might have been a better buy because Arsenal create chances and he can finish.

wellbecks link up play is very good, he may suit arsenals passing style. he works his arse off, has real pace and strength. just one problem as a striker he's a terrible finisher! sturridge always had that side

Any Manchester United fans getting worried about the lack of news on Falcao?

Glad Liverpool haven't been involved this year, always end up making an underwhelming signing.

The free agent window doesn't close until later in the year right? So Valdes could conceivably sign later as rumoured.

Also very surprised nobody has gone in for Petr Cech, in the top 5-10 goalkeepers in the world and yet seemingly no interest. I think Chelsea, purposely, made it unclear if he was going to be first choice so as to not have any bids for him. Otherwise the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan who have all signed new goalkeepers would have been interested.

Players who are out of contract and do not have a club, can be signed outside of the transfer window if they are unattached free agents when the window closes.

£6 million for Sandro is a really good deal. Surprised he's gone QPR, was he a Harry buy in the first place? That's the only explanation.
