A loss would be a disgrace
First topic message reminder :
Not wishing to disrespect the French, but this side is one of worst I,ve seen in a long time. A terrible world cup, losing 3 times in the group stages and scraping through to the final thanks to a rash tackle and an equally rash refereeing decision. So far this 6N they`ve looked fairly clueless and dare I say, gutless, I mean they even lost to an England team who don`t know the meaning of attacking rugby. Of course we could lose as the French do have some quality players but if we did it would be of our own doing as if we play well France won`t be even to stay close. I predict Wales by 20 and if we lose, Gatland will have to leave on the first plane back to obscurity.
Lets have a 606 sweep, I say Wales by 20

Re: A loss would be a disgrace
As far as the OP goes, Wales would have to be bonkers to sack Gatland now. They are virtually guaranteed to win the 6N barring a couple of extreme results tomorrow, and losing to a French team who got to within 1 point of the All Blacks not so long ago (it's an awfully long time since Wales got that close to NZ) is no shame.
Also, if Wales did sack Gatland they'd have to pay out 3 years of his contract. Plus who would they hire? No one in Wales is currently putting their hand up, so they'd be competing with England's bank balance in the international coaching market. They wouldn't go back to Graham Henry, so you're looking at prising Jake White out of the Brumbies, or Nick Mallet or John Kirwan.

Woodstock there was a trophy held for matches between France and NZ,it was held by NZ.The series was drawn 1-1 points difference was a matter of a couple of points.
Usually in those circumstances the holder retains the trophy, many myself included were surprised. In Marseille when the First teams played, the AllBlacks regained it,giving the World a reminder they could still play.

All
He might be Moffats Ghost come back to haunt us in this V2 afterlife.
Blueman,
let him be, his nonsense needn't bother you or me. I do not feel WUM ed.
With France especially, 'comfortably the better team' ? daft thing to predict as you never know with France. So far in this 6N, Wales have looked much the better TEAM as in v good individuals and joined up, compared with the out of form & fragmented individuals that sum up to 'France' so far.
I really feel Wales will win this one, but I would not bet my house on a 'comfortable' win.
