The Future of Fabregas Empty The Future of Fabregas

The main story for the last season and a half coming from Arsenal is Mr Fabregas and the ongoing saga regarding his future.

Where do you see him playing next season?
Does he stay or will he go?
If he goes, what price tag would you value him at?

if torres is worth 50m then cesc is worth more then that just for potential.

with barca in debt its unlikely he'll be a barca player next year.

mark my words thought if cesc is sold for less then 50m they will be a major fans revolt outside the emirates.

If Arsenal can somehow win the Premiership then I think he may stay at least one more season. Otherwise, I think he'll go as it has been in the ballance for the last two or three summers.

The Barcelona financial situation makes it more interesting though. On an open market I think he'd be worth at least 50-60 million - but if Barca won't pay that then it could get interesting. I suspect he may have been made some sort of offer by Arsenal allowing him to go to Barca after this season if Arsenal come up trophyless again - but if they can't pay what Cesc is worth then it may make the deal more difficult.

I'm not sure how many other teams would pay 50 million for him (or maybe more if it's not a pre-arranged deal with Barca). Perhaps if Arsenal CAN pull off the Premiership win it will take some heat out of the decision

I fear that eventually Fabregas will return to Barca - his heart is there and even though he has been professional for Arsenal this season I don't think he will remain too much longer, especially as we seem to throw away every competition and trophy.

I'm a United fan and I don't want him to leave

I'm sick of players leaving for La Liga

If Fabregas leaves arsenal wont win any thing for a long time, unless they sign big in the summer.

Barcelonas debts may hamper the deal along with the fact their is other parts of the squad that need strengthened. Back up centre halfs Abidals situation is unfortunate but one that must be addressed and Milito is leaving. They also need a backup left back and maybe another option up front. Wouldn't rule out Real Madrid tbh they would love to get one up on Barca and could be doing with a player like that Ozil is good but isn't enough of a goal threat.

Can't see him playing anywhere other than Arsenal Or Barca if i'm honest. If Barca wont pay what Arsenal want for him then they wont let him go, end of. I think he'll move season after next for about £40m, depending on the stated of the transfer market at the time.

You heard it here first! Wink

He will eventually get bored of playing at Arsenal, a team that continually bottles the big games. He won't win anything with the Gunners. He'll look at Barca and see he can win trophies, would he play a huge role? I wouldn't think so. The Spanish team proves that.
