Real state they've made no contact over Fabregas
Real Madrid have insisted they have not lodged a bid for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
Fabregas, who was the subject of bids from former club Barcelona in the summer, is now being strongly linked with a summer move to Real.
Reports in England and Spain have reported that Real were ready to make a €65million move for the Arsenal star.
But Madrid general manager Jorge Valdano has confirmed that they have made no bid or approach for the 23-year-old.
"We never made an offer for him (Fabregas) and we haven't spoken with Arsenal either," Valdano said.
"We have a good relationship with Arsenal and we don't want any misunderstanding."

i cant believe hes only 23. What a future he has in store for him.
If Arsenal finish 2nd or even 1st id expect him to stay for a couple of seasons.
He's still young, no need to go abroad yet.
Arsenal are so close to the trophies and Fabregas is vital to helping them acheive it. With a few signings in the summer and Fabregas staying, Arsenal will be a formidable force next season.

With a price tag of €65 million at just 23, if Arsenal can hold onto him for at least a few more seasons he will surely be able to be sold for a figure in excess of €100 million by the age of 27/8.
Think of all the great, young players of the future that Wenger could bring in for that amount...
