League Breakdown and Rules
- Spoiler:
- Welcome to the 606v2 Euro Division
Where this will be different to the existing leagues is that the sides involved are entirely made up.
You don't inherit a pre-made European side.
Instead you make your own.
You would initially start with £150m with which to buy a MINIMUM of 15 players and a MAXIMUM of 23 players.
The prices for these players are determined entirely through the transfermarkt website.
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/
But here's where it gets interesting...the prices that are used on transfermarkt are the minimum you can bid, because other people in the league may also want the same person, so do you risk bidding the flat fee or do you bid more (increased bids have to be a minimum £500k more), the other point of note at this stage is that the maximum value player you can bid on is £15m (though you can choose to bid more than the £15m to get the player)
You then get an ADDITIONAL £50m with which to purchase upto 2 STAR players (min 1), though the maximum you can spend on 1 player is £35m.
This will then result in you having a team of a minimum of 16 players and maximum of 25 players.
You then have to name the team, give it a location where they play their home games and send this via PM to myself and Sodhat before the cut off point (to be decided).
Results of who got which player will then be announced and for those that lost out on players due to being outbid, a second chance is available to acquire players before the league starts, and third etc if needed.
Number of leagues is dependent upon how many players participate.
Foreign transfers.
As the only deciding factor for selling a player is cash then there shouldn't be wrangles over if a TP is accepted or not, if you have the cash you can buy!
TPs though will only go through once a week on a Sunday night for the week ahead.
Max transfer value for bringing in a player from foreign transfers is £15m in Season 1.
You can only make 2 foreign transfers per week.
Domestic transfers
Players can move only twice between domestic clubs per season, once they have moved twice you will have to wait until the following season to sell to another domestic club.
They can though be released or sold to an outside club.
For anyone that joins the league after it begins then the following rule applies for the first two weeks:
Transfers between 2 domestic clubs must be within 20% of each other in total monetary value. So for example if Team A wish to buy a player from Team B worth £10m then they must offer between £8-£12m in player/cash value.
Note that once 2 weeks have passed then the manager is allowed to but and sell as they please but this rule is in place to combat the usual bombardment of silly offers that litter the new managers page.
Injuries
Injuries shall be announced once per week on a Sunday night, they shall consist of 2 players, one based from the team picked for the previous weeks game and one from the entire squad.
Tactics
Each week you shall play 1 game, either league or cup (no more than one game per week though), tactics for this game shall consist of a team sheet, injuries for your team, if your team is home or away and a maximum of 15 bullet point lines worth of team instructions.
As well as the tactical instructions you are allowed 2 extra lines of a team talk to motivate your players, show your worth not just for tactics but how you build players up for the game!
Cash
Each week you receive 2m for a win, 1m for a draw, zilch for a loss.
You also receive an extra £2m per week for ensuring your tactics are handed in on time and you've voted on the results.
Each week there shall be a £1m cash bonus to the team voted best tactics.
Hopefully this is enough to entice to sign up! If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to ask and I look forward to seeing your team sheets!

Morning.
Do you have a favorite line out of them? I do, tell you once I see if people have picked up on it....
Damn Chelsea, they could of had it. I cant stand Mancini "He will never play for this club again" Well you soon got prang and went back on your word there!
Coates - What a goal,
Yeah man, I didnt have time as I was leaving work. Not being funny but my tactics are great, direct and will get me the win.Nick did you actually do those tactics in a CF stylee

I'm going to say 2-1 to City. I don't think Chelsea have enough to go and win at Eastlands and I reckon Tevez will be involved.
I hope he doesn't get booed, I don't care what any of you say, the man is a legend!
Boom. If only I had the nuts to bet on things...
My favourite instruction of yours was to Klose, Nick. "Go run and celebrate"

Seems like one City would sneak so I'll say 0-1 to City.
I wouldn't bet on it though, I've only won one football bet in my life and that was on Paul Scholes getting booked first in the FA Cup Final. So it hardly counts because it was inevitable.

Bloody hell Cherries right what bloody team you are it's your cup and you're missing that out. I'm not going to go around looking whos who on the main pager from next time if I don't see your name and who you are playing next game match I won't bother checking out everyones team and give you a loss assuming you didn't get tactics in.
Re: The 606V2 Fantastic Fantasy League Homepage V
Oh, I see now. He got a bit of game time the other week against Leeds, and I hoped to see him come on vs Boro but he stuck Baldock on instead.
Looks a wrong 'un though, no doubt about it.

My voting is done but I don't know if I should give them to both Hero and Cherries. Is it fair that both can see the results that I put down for them?
Re: The 606V2 Fantastic Fantasy League Homepage V
It's either that or make them public so everyone can see them.

I don't really care if everyone can see my votes but when it's just two people who can see everyones votes it makes it uncomfortable.

If they're publically done, how about just goals and scorers? Reasons may cause uppities

Just looking at the table it's getting bleak at the bottom for Wolves and Wigan. Can't see them getting out of it at the moment, I reckon one of Bolton or QPR will join them going down.

Wolves are gone. They fired Mick and replaced him with someone with no experience at all and I can see they shipping 3 goals a week from now on. Can't see Wigan getting out of it although they always seem to. I like Bolton but if QPR go on a charge now then they will go. Blackburn, I don't know how exactly, should be safe.

Re: The 606V2 Fantastic Fantasy League Homepage V
Reads to me that Bolton have an easier set of fixtures than their rivals and two biggies in there next matches with Blackburn and Wolves respectively. If they aren't troubled by the Muamba stuff then they'll be my favourites to stay up of the four.
I don't think Blackburn are safe yet, but I reckon they can break away from it now. Depends if they can keep their form going and if they get a result at Bolton.

Cherries you tramp you wanna buy a VW but you don't know which one stick to the buses like me.
Re: The 606V2 Fantastic Fantasy League Homepage V
Wolver are down....sadly. TC was never the man for the job. Wolves were turned down by managers they wanted and well, TC is already on the books at Wolves so he got sandbagged into it. On the other hand if he pulls it off I hear his bonus is 500k.
Shocking when you think they only offered Bruce, Curbs etc 250k to keep them up.
Blackburn I thik are fine now.
Wigan, Bolton and QPR.
I think QPR will pick up some form, great win for them yday.
Hard to see with Bolton, after the weekend you dont know how thats effected them and how they will respond to it when back on the picth.
Wigan, well they always seem to do it and Martinez is a good manager, when they play football they play well. They have just had problems this season.

I like watching Wigan play quite a lot, but every time I do it becomes clear that they can't score goals and I think it'll cost them.
Moses has something like 3 goals this season and their top scorers have 4! It's a shame because I like Martinez. I don't like Whelan though, don't care if he gets relegated really.

I've got my votes done but I don't want to give them to both Cherries and Hero. I don't think its fair that BOTH get to see our votes.
I understand the Cherries is in Set 5 and needs help.

April 22nd at the Nou Camp.
Could be a crucial one that, if the gap is still 6 points by then it'll get Barca in striking distance or if it's been whittled away they can jump ahead. Doesn't look like it's over though.

I don't know how it worked for you guys at Secondary school but for each lesson we would have 5 classes for each half of the year, set 1 being the top class and set 5 not being the top class
Or another name I could use Foundation Crew which means you don't do a higher paper for GCSE you do the lower one. Or half GCSE Boys which we called the people who did half a GCSE (Yes I didn't know they exsisted)

I was perilously close to be a set 5 bod in maths, I blame my mate for distracting me, but really I was just poo at maths.
All the other classes for some reason were mixed capability, but specifically maths they split the dumbasses from the number geeks. At least my class was fun!
