Looks like Ronnie is on some form. True to my prediction sucess so far he will win comfortably

Even though Ronnie is 5-1 up. He will still have to be very careful as this is when Peter Ebdon will overdo the matchplay tactics and slow him right down.

Matchu Stevens through though. He will face Barry Hawkins or Mark Selby. That's a very difficult tie for Selby actually. I think it will be close but I expect Mark to come through that unless he's still suffering from an injury.

Its been a roller coaster so far, this can only be good for snooker

2 good matches today. Christopher Dale v JT and Ryan Day v Ding. I don't know what's happened to Day but he's nowhere near the player he was sadly. It'll be a good indication today of how far Ding can go in this tournament.

I would love to see Trump and Day win but i feel that Ding will be too good for Day.

Dale unable to take advantage of an obviously weakened Trump and you'd fancy "The Juddernaut" (sorry couldn't resist) to drive straight over him tomorrow after a good night's sleep, whoever wins the final frame of the session.

Been a decent effort from Judd who was missing everything to begin with but he has hung in with a mixture of instinct and Dale's lack top class ability. Bodes well for the rest of the tournament and should give Judd confidence that he can still produce results when not at his best.

So 5-4 to Trump and 5-4 to Dale. Good matches these

Expecting Trump to... trump Christopher Dale because he was pretty woeful in that session.

Day v Ding is a hard one to call. IMO, it's not a shock if Day wins it.

I am hoping that Trump gets through, he is a great player. I would not consider it a shock if Day wins because he is more than capable of beating the top players.

O'Sullivan wins his match against Ebdon 10-4, the damage was done yesterday really.

Thought it would be closer. Shame on Peter, he didn't really turn up.

Happy that Ronnie won, i would love to see him against Williams next round
