Who was the greatest LH of all time?
Loose Head Props- Greatest ever XV as voted by 606v2
Finally, with Jason Leonard as our TH (he could play both, very well, though he was more traditionally a loose head), we reach our final position- Loose head Prop! Leonard won't be available as he is already at TH.

I can't fault you for effort CJ.
You have been fighting a lone cause to get a bok into this team, and I can almost guarante you this effort will also be in vain.

I'm going with Gethin Jenkins, yes I'm welsh and biased, but I'm not allowed to go for Jason Leonard...
Gethin has scored a few fantastic tries for Wales, the 2005 grand slam one, that half way line effort in the World Cup, he has 87 Welsh caps and 5 Lions ones and is only 31! He could be the closest thing we have ever seen to Leonard.

Much more of an athlete than any other prop to play at the top level. Great try in the RWC up there with Graham price in the park de princes in '75.AlynDavies wrote:I'm going with Gethin Jenkins, yes I'm welsh and biased, but I'm not allowed to go for Jason Leonard...

I'd suggest David Sole - Grand Slam winning captain, instigator of the 'Murrayfield walk', and first-choice loosehead for the B&I Lions during their victorious 1989 tour.
You know it makes sense.

gethin for me
3 grand slams, 5 lions caps. Work in the loose brilliant.
Question mark over his scrummaging, but hey, no one's perfect.

Os for me
Gethin's a good player, but most of his career he's been one of the top 2 or 3 playing at the time (Woodcock etc), rather than outright #1

A props primary job is scrummage, the rest is a bonus. If you are saying there are question marks over his scrummaging then there is no way he can be the best of all time.

Very good list Chequered - only Christian Califano (France) is the stand out ommission.
Let's give Biltong and Chequered a break here - it has to be His Mighty Os'ness.
2 World Cups (only five other players have done it and they're all Australian), 80 caps, fifth most capped Bok of all time. Cannot leave him out.

Rodders, you do know that was arranged?
Gibbs paid good money for that moment, it made his career, and Os obliged.

Now we have to get a Springbok in on sympathy votes.
What is this world coming too?

It is OK Ngan, so far we are getting the sympathy vote for Os, seeing that as the worlds second best team we haven't got anyone in yet.
to be honest I would prefer it if Os didn't make it into this team, I would rather set up my boys against this "voted best team" and see what transpires, you don't by any chance have a virtual software program that we can use for this?

Surely EA Sports Rugby 2011 has the capacity to do so?

Not sure mate, there are a number of dinosaurs in this team, you'll need to get EA sports to create profiles for those players.
