Because HERSH has gone AWOL, but his idea was a good one, even if he did tactically refuse to put up certain players for selection to be controversial.

As 12 and 13 are rather different positions, I will be conducting separate Polls for 2nd Five-Eighth and Outside Centre. Some players will be available in both Polls. If I have missed anyone, it is not deliberate and I am happy to add people to the Poll at a later date. I will try and get a mix of contemporary (if they are the best, there is no reason a modern player should be counted against due to pure nostalgia), legendary and everything in between. The players are posted in no order other than the one I remembered them in. I am too young to remember some of these players and will undoubtedly make mistakes. If I do so, I apologise, they are not WUM posts.

I have gone for Sella as he was the player I seen most growing up, however from what I have seen and heard B Williams was a true great and whilst I think Bateman is one of the best Welsh centres I have ever seen play his best years were unfortunately (for us) lost to league.

I've gone for Guscott here. The fact that he stood out as a threat in an English back-line and his play for the Lions helps, though I'd like a bruiser at 12 inside him! This doesn't mean I like him as a pundit...

Mike Gibson in his day was THE best 10 and 12,[because Barry John was the Lions 10]he was not a 13.Nonu was mainly wing or 12 but on the odd time[2009]he was forced to play 13.
