My daughter just called me from Uni today to tell me she'd found a shop in Sheffield that sold Lemonheads .. I've only ever seen them (the real thing) in USA

I'm going to Birmingham shopping on Monday and they have a shop called Cyber Candy that does American stuff, but it's so damn expensive!

Re: American Food
You may have trouble getting decent US drinks as they have to be specifically imported - you can't really take them onto the plane.
As for US sweets it might be worth trying ebay! Either that or get someone in the forces who is going to work in the US (like my brother-in-law who is going to bring back some Almond M&Ms for me!)

It's the opposite way round for me. I'm in the US and keep having to go to my local 'British Store' so I can stock up on Quavers, Crunchies and dandelion and burdock (I just can't get used to Dr Pepper or root beer)

I bought some M&Ms from eBay in the end got 1.5kg roughly for 15 quid, 500g of Peanut Butter, Almond and Pretzel (the Pretzel ones are AMAZING)

If you want to shop online I found http://www.americansweets.co.uk/ were pretty good. Some of the stuff is a bit on the expensive side but the Reeses cereal is awesome and the salt water taffy is mmmmmm tasty.

Re: American Food
Bit late I know, just back from states and LOVED having Root Beer readily available.
CyberCandy have shops in Birmingham, Covent Garden and Brighton. They also have a website too.
American Soda has a really good website and they regularly do deals on Lucky Charms like 3 boxes for £10.
Southampton has two shops, Sweet City in the Bargate Centre and Uncle Charleys All Things American on Bedford Place - which is open until 1am these days!!
Other than that, ebay can be good sometimes.
