Exeter Signings
Exeter have signed up Alex Brown (tight head prop) and Jack Yeandle (Hooker) from Doncaster Knights. Both are 22, although Yeandle looks like he's had a hard life!

I remember Alex Brown from the England U20's a couple of years ago, I can remember thinking he was massive at the time. From the blurb on the Donny website, it doesn't seem like he's got any smaller. I don't know anything about Yeandle, but he seems like a big lad too. Looks like a good move to me, two young, big and abrasive tight five forwards, one of whom is a local Exeter lad.

Donny have got a few decent young players that I hope Falcons will be looking at over the next season, they have a couple of locks that I wouldn't mind seeing turn out for us.

Exeter sign Alex Brown! That got me very worried! There should be a disclaimer to diffeniate the 2. From what I've heard both are decent prospects.

I apologise, I will go back and bold the 'tight head prop' part!

Re: Exeter Signings
Makes sense to bag another tighthead prop, what with Jon Andress on his way to Wuss and Budgie approaching 40 and surely due for a rest. The youngster can learn from Mitch and Tui while his own game develops. Our lineouts haven't been great this year, so perhaps another specialise hooker with very good darts isn't a bad idea

He has a young face, just bald. Actually take of the beard and he looks a lot like Joe Simpson.Bathman_in_London wrote:That Yeandle does not look 22!
These are the sort of signings Rob Baxter seems to specialise in. If these guys have been starting for Doncaster they will have more and better experience than most academy props.
