VDV - Messi, RVP

Spurs put up a brave fight and go ahead following an awesome strike from VDV. However in the second half Barce pick up the pace with Messi and the RVP scoring. Spurs almost equalize in stoppage time but Casillas pulls of a wonder save to secure the win.

Arsenal 2 - Man City 0
Ozil (2)

Arsenal have to whether the storm in the first half with Man City's attacking players swarming all over them. However just before halftime Ozil nicks a goal. Man City pile on the pressure once more but Schweinsteiger and Vidal are on top form, a break away attack grabs Ozil a second goal late on.

Madrid 1 - Bayern Munich 3
Ronaldo - Aguero, Podolski, Ivanovic

A game in which Torres is woeful in front of goal means that what would have been a close game turns into a thumping win for Bayern. Aguero and Ronaldo both score in the first half cancelling each other out. The second half sees Torres miss two sitters before Podolski grabs a great headed goal. Late on Ivanovic scores from a Bayern corner to seal the win.

Juventus 0 - Inter 1
- Tevez

Inter Milan show that traditional Italian steel as their full backs keep Walcott and Elia in their pockets the whole match. Some brilliance in the second half sees Tevez grab the winner before Inter sit back and see out the game.

Chelsea 4 - Liverpool 1
Rooney (3), Terry - Gerrard

What starts out as a close game is soon turned on its head as Rooney has one of those days scoring an awesome hattrick. The attacking threat of Rooney/Silva/Valencia/Robben was just too much for Liverpool. Terry added a 4th from a header off of a Robben freekick before Gerrard scored a freekick at the other end.

Tottenham 1 - 3 Barcelona

Tottenham were humbled by a brilliant Barca side that tore their defence at times. Sanchez and Messi combined for the first goal before Sanchez squuezed it through the keepers' legs. Messi then set up Sanchez for the 2nd after Messi ran Ekotto ragged. Van Persie topped it all with a thunderous free-kick. Tottenham found it hard to win the ball back but scored a goal from the corner as Toure powered in a thumping header

Zlatan

A neat finish by Zlatan in the dying moments gave Utd 3 points against a stubborn Milan side. Milan matched Utd throuhour the first half but Utd upped a gear when Ribery burned past Zambrotta and curled the first goal. Pato equalised after Drogba played him through but as the game looked to be ending, Zlatan turned Rio and drilled a low drive for the winner

Arsenal 1 - 2 Man City

Three of the unlikiest goalscoreres today but it ended with a worthy goal by Carlos Puyol. Puyol run from his half and played a couple of 1-2s and then he continued to go forward and found himself against the keeper and he dummied past him and tapped it in. Earlier Arsenal created some great chances only to be thwarted by Yaya Toure. However, Lahm ran past a few players and unleashed a stinging low curler for the first. Another unlikely equaliser came as Clichy found him forward and dummied for to drive a corner but he ran and ran and side-footed through the keepers legs to his astonishment. Arsenal heads dropped as they gave so much and you could see City dominating ..enter Puyol.

Ronaldo was brilliant today and caused Bayern's defence alot of problems. However he ended up scoring 2 free-kicks. Aguero pulled a goal back when Podolski's shot smacked the bar and Aguero was the quickest to react. Bayern did create chances but couldn't find the killer pass whilst their defence was finding hard to contain Villa and Ronaldo.

A fantastic game with many chances but bioth keepers were in inspired form. However Valdes couldn't stop Wallcott's low drive a Buffon could only look skywards when Benzema lobbed him with precision. Tevez was unluckiest as he hit the post 3 times and just knew it wasn't going to be his day.
