To me, Foley offers nothing in terms of getting Ambrose over. He's not really a big name any more, he's put over Taker, Edge and Orton and has retired like 4 times. To me, if he turned up on Smackers and the commentators said 'this guy has made comments about Foley and ripped him' i'd probably think 'to be fair, people have been ripping on Foley for years'.

Foley offers a spot. He's decent on the mic still so a verbal battle would work to showcase Ambrose's mic skills and then it'd end with Ambrose taking ol'Mick out back to put him to rest.

Foley is quite large.
But not large in an intimidating way like Show or Henry

I'd far rather Foley come back and manage a stable of new up and coming guys.

But Foley has no business in the ring anymore. He has nothing of real to value to add to the product. Sorry to say it but he is a massive has been. Ambrose won't get much rub off someone who does goofy backstage skits.

You're right KB, beating down on Foley now has about much kudos with it as beating up Terry Funk now. Foley is good on the microphone, but a feud would suck if it just ended with a war of words and no actual wrestling. If they want to push Ambrose on the roster, have him come out and brutalise someone like Kofi Kingston, to get him over a fan favourite. Keep Foley to a non-wrestling role.

To me, the person best suited to bringing these guys through, and probably the most under utilised guy in the WWE is William Regal.

I would see Moxley vs Foley would be a bit like what Foley vs Funk was back in ECW. A bit of a passing of the torch dealy. But it should only be the one match if it was to happen not a full series of matches

Pretended he was Jamaican thus introducing Evan to the nasty world of drugs!!!! If Kofi had always been honest with where he was from maybe Evan would never have taken up smoking.

I just meant that as Kofi is popular with the crowd, having him beaten up by Ambrose could work well.

Thinking about the Ambrose vs. Foley feud, can you imagine how much a Foley match would suck nowadays in a PG WWE. No chair shots to the head, no piledrivers, no blood, I doubt they'd let anything be on fire, no barbed wire, no tacs, it would probably just end up being Ambrose beating up Foley with a baseball bat for 10 minutes.

I agree attacking Kofi is pointless.

There is no hardcore element to the WWE, the passing of the torch would be pointless!

I'd like for Foley to manage some of the guys who come through from FCW who don't wrestle the all american college wrestling way and have them go up against Swagger and Ziggler. You could also have a Foley v Vickie angle in there.

Davey Richards: The Death Of RoH:

As much as I dislike Davey Richards in the ring, as well as the way RoH continues to push him, I know that you can't tell the entire story of Ring Of Honor without mentioning him. In this particular section, I'm only going to point to one particular match.. Davey Richards defending the RoH World Title against Eddie Edwards at Final Battle 2011. There haven't been many matches in recent memory that infuriated me like this one did. We're talking about 40+ minutes of no-sell after no-sell, with a complete lack of ring psychology throughout. Davey Richards is so full of himself that it sickens me. Eddie Edwards is nothing more than a poor man's Davey Richards. Combine that with RoH management's complete lack of testicles, and you have this train wreck. Both men had zero intention of making the other look good. They just wanted to go in there and show the world how "tough" they are. Suplex me? Flip you, I'm not selling that Poopie. Superkick me? Flip you, I'm not selling that Poopie. Flip you, period. I'm not selling any of your Poopie. I'll even break out of your submission attempts to turn around and hit you with moves.. that you'll just no-sell and then hit me with something.. that I'll no-sell. Both men are bland with no real charisma or mic skills, look like generic create-a-wrestlers that you'd put into WWE '12 just so you could practice moves on in exhibition matches, and try a little too hard to come across as MMA fighters instead of what they are.. marginally talented professional wrestlers. They're everything that is wrong with independent wrestling today, and they're spearheading the downfall of Ring Of Honor from the inside. There are too many people on the RoH roster that fall into the exact same category as these two, which means every wrestler looks the same and every match comes across as being the same. There aren't enough differences and personalities in RoH that get any sort of positive reaction out of me these days, so I don't watch as much as I could/should.

The problem with the indys is that they strip too much of the pantomime away, and I've always said, there is absolutely no point in pretend fighting if there is no pantomime/dramatic element to it. Then it just becomes the joke that all the nay-sayers who like to bait wrestling fans say it is.

Coming out and attacking the likes of Kofi etc would be awful IMO, it's just ABC booking at it's worst.

Again though, does he have the credibility to go up against her? Would Booker perhaps not be a better option? Hell, even Cena could be better. He's worked out with those guys, he could take all these beatdowns from Tensai, Brock, The Rock and then new guys back him up?

Far fetched perhaps, but better than Foley for me.

Then I'd tag each one's hand and pour myself a Lime Pop, and help myself to a well deserved Twix, though I might offer one of the divas a finger

I think if we all chipped in a fiver, we could probably get Slater into the 6WF on a three year contract.

That would be an immense WM Main Event.

A feud like that doesn't need the title either.

As a ginger myself, I think I can speak for all of our species when I say I wish Slater would dye his hair.

I could show you a promo he did which was brilliant. So yes, he does know how to promo

I am actually warming to Slater a bit now, same goes with Otunga, think he's been really good as Ace's sidekick.

I'll be honest - I thin kyou are right to an extent. To me Heath seems like an over excited teenager running around shouting and trying to grab attention but with nothing to do and nobody paying attention to him. Part of this is how he has been booked or not booked. I do wonder if he can produce a promo without me thinking of the Wendy's girl and Wendy's isn't even present over here!!!!
