Yep, fair point, hadn't thought that through.
Not against anything that you have suggested and I get why you're trying it, good to open it up for discussion. Personally, I'm hoping that a clean slate and a new season should balance things out. Don't think that there is much in the squads to be honest. Probably a gap between the top 2 and the rest, but the rest is a dogfight. Sarries got nailed by the 6ns for example.
Like that you're giving us a bit of warning of ideas, really appreciate it, as i'm the kind of loser who has transfer target lists and plots how much money i might have in the future, so pre warning really helps.
How about limiting the number of injuries for lower clubs? Not realistic and probably a c rap idea, but it's just a thought. 6 injuries and for extended periods seems quite a lot.

Its hurt me in my relegation run in my injuries! But it's something that can't really be avoided. Could we try and revamp the injuries, so that it was fewer, but a little bit more often? With say a bit more difference in length of injuries?
I think that a start from the beginning will help everyone, allows everyone to build the squad. Whereas we didn't have much chance in this half a season.

Looking for deals for next season. All players available with the exception of Corbs, Hudson, Brussow, Pienaar. Unless it's a biggy for them

Ojo - £17 mil
Bowden - £24 mil
Around that mark. Would prefer to hold onto Bowden hence the big price tag.

Aye I know, I did say he had a high price tag. Would need immediate replacement and a foreign of his calibre would cost in excess of £24 mil.

So Dan Bowden is the 2nd best IC in the world? Because thats what I'd be expecting to get for 24m from the foreigns

He's only overpricing because he doesn't want to sell, I get it. For the same reasons Castro was valued at £35m at the start of the season!

Castro is arguably the best TH in the world and would have cost 25ish in foreigns. Buying him for 35m would have saved you a foreign transfer.
Dan Bowden is not one of the best 12's in the world.

Bowden would be around £20 mil in foreigns. Using your logic his price tag is justified. Your pricing was at a 40% mark up, mine 20%.
You've also got to account for the loss of losing your fly half for 2-3 weeks whilst you 'bed in' your new fly half.

There is logic, but no one has that kind of money at the moment.
Anyway I'd much rather save my dollar.
Pooly, are they U21 bids for next season?

Bowden would not be 20m in foreigns
Castro is one of best in world in position, Bowdon not one of best in AP. Get some realism.
Bowden would go for around 15m in foreigns

As a guide:
Standout in position - 25m +
World class player - 22 - 25m
Top Class Int - 20 - 23m
Int - 16 - 23m
Non Int - 10 - 18m
Where do you get 20m from???!
Castro was priced at that level as there's nobody better for 25m and it would not cost a foreign. I can think of 20 IC's better than Bowden,

To be fair still some better options out there but I'd rate Bowden as one of the best 12s in the Prem. Cracking little player when on the front foot. Going to Tigers will be the making of him.

To be fair that is Pulls valuation of Bowden, the debate just happened on main page and Bathite needed to chip in as normal.
Bowden would be a 15m (ish) player in foreigns, if somebody wants to pay 20m for him it is up to them.

Whilst on the subject of Bowden, doesn't he become EQ in real life quite soon? Would that make him EQ on here? Joe Maddick is eligible to play for England, is he EQ on here? Matt carraro also about to marry his English wife so becomes EQ, does that count?

Ah ok, you done mark ups before to try and make point but that doesn't work now. You're still not really getting it but never mind.
A foreign player declaring himself EQ doesn't become EQ till he plays for the Saxons.

Thanks for clarifying. Don't get upset because he is your player, but has Waldrom actually been capped yet? Thought that he had only been in training squads and wasn't picked for Saxons, so is he in limbo? Surely he should count as an EQ?

Thoughts on the following:
1. Next season 1/2 point for win rather than 1 (make results closer)
2. Ways to even up league in close season
a- Cash injection (more for lower teams)
b- Draft of players
3. U21 bids, would people prefer a draft of players to save budgets?
4. As English is staying at 4 in team and 8 in squad, how about having to name a number of U21 players in starting lineup (English or foreign)?
Thoughts welcome, this is our league so looking to keep things going and hopefully last as long as Orig AP. I just want to keep things competitve and not make it into an all stars game

1. Yes agree with this. You can be predicted to by everyone to lose by 1 point and end up without a LBP so yes good idea.
2.I think i'd prefer more choice over who i was going for, so would prefer cash injection but not overly bothered.
3.U21 draft i think is a good idea
4.Not sure. I've got a poor academy but as long as it nots too many players i wouldn't mind.

Looking to put in place then:
1. 0.5 bonus point per win
2. Cash injections for sides
Swaying towards:
1. U21 draft
2. 2 x U21 player in squad, 1 to start

Still not overly sure how the U21's limit will help even the game out think long run it will just favour the stronger academies.
How will the U21s draft sway out? Will it be openn and you just pick anyone under 21 or will it be a set list to choice from?

Also takes away the incentive to trade off the younger promising players and could get to the stage where they wont go without getting one in return similar to EQ players on the original game which will help to kill off domestic dealings somewhat.

But you would have to use your foreigns on u21 players so long run it still favours the better academies as they can just rely on academy players and go out for the best players in foreigns regardless of age limits
