Leeds and Wakefield discussing swap deal with Justin Poore and Paul Aiton going to Leeds and Paul McShane and Richard Moore plus cash going to Wakey
imo Leeds would be getting the better of that deal still

Re: The Rumour Mill .......................................... Revisited
From Kenny's recent post in the RL news thread;
"Bradford Bulls' new owner Ryan Whitcut says the club are waiting to announce two new signings while they will also scout the World Cup for recruits once the RFL ratify his takeover of the club".
Rumour suggests one is Adam Henry a NZ centre/wing who has played a couple of games (4 I believe) for Sydney Roosters (Visa issues?) the other I would guess is Ben Evans who has been on loan from Warrington.
It has also been reported that some kind of player loan agreement has been made with Huddersfield following the Craig Kopczak transfer last season. Huddersfield were cleared of an illegal approach however during the Keith Mason employment tribunal conflicting evidence apparently emerged prompting a further investigation by the RFL. It is not clear if this loan agreement is some kind of compensation and there is no suggestion that Huddersfield have actually been found guilty of any illegal activity however the Bulls are describing the outcome as a "satisfactory conclusion".
Can we have Brough & Crabtree for say........3 years!! Seriously I hope that there is no long term relationship damage between clubs and they can get on with the job of entertaining us. Huddersfield superb this year, already looking forward to the 2014 Bulls.

Uummm, I would be surprised to be honest, Cummins has said he is looking to replace Lulia in the Centres, the Bulls have Foster,Kearney,Kear,George at wing/full back, Gaskell/Sammut have played at FB, unless there is a plan to move someone inside? Secondly is there a fee for Cockayne? If so again I don't think it fits with current policy/finance. I have however been wrong before (a lot actually and not just about RL!) we'll see.Kenny wrote:I have heard you have made an offer to Ben Cockayne which is why we haven't announced signing him yetThe Beast wrote:From Kenny's recent post in the RL news thread;

It looks like it maybe true i'm afraid Beast , Hull ( who have already spent their salary cap ! ) are reporting on their official website they are looking at signing him in time for their Superleague game next week .

HULL FC
Lee Radford looks like changing his squad very late in the day as there are numerous rumours going around the KC stadium ......................
Shannon McDonnell ( one of FC's top 5 earners ) is to be released from his contract and paid off
Along with their approach for Bradford Bulls prop Gareth Carvell , Hull have put forward an offer for the Bull's half back Luke Gale ........................ a move if successful that would see Hull end Jacob Millers contract paying him off also .
Hull have also put an offer to Keith Mason who is currently without a club .
To bring any player in Hull would have to move players out to free up salary cap money which is why they are looking at offloading McDonnell and Miller ( plus it is going around that Radford is wanting to get rid of the overseas players altogether at FC )

Bradford Bulls;
Nick Scruton rumoured to be a target for Wakefield. Franny Cummins said other players via their coaches are contacting Bulls players, Lee Radford (Hull FC) said it is "difficult to ignore the opportunity to sign Bulls players".
Speaking a RL fan not Bradford I think that the RFL should do something, in another post I described the situation as death by a thousand cuts, 6 points deducted (twice), a fine of £1.2m given to the 13 other clubs, players who can now walk and in special measures so they cannot be replaced. If he and 2 - 3 more senior players were to leave what realistically is the point carrying on and more so if they going to be punished further still who will want to buy the club?

Jamie Foster (Bradford) has apparently "attracted interest from Union Clubs". Personally I think he would do well, alot more kicking, alot less less passing, catching and tackling in all that would suit him much better, a decent player nonetheless good luck.

Salford;
rumoured to be chasing 4 big name signings including Corey Patterson, with Reni Mautia and Harrison Hanson also mentioned. They already have Dayne Weston on the way for next year from Melbourne Storm so presumably not all of them they are backrowers.
Owner Derek Beaumont has been reported as saying he will question the salary cap on the basis of restraint of trade, personally I hope not it will turn the sport into Football, no thanks, interesting times ahead.

I think you meant Leigh and not Salford.
Other than that I couldn't agree more with what you've put. I'm not against raising the salary cap.
But think the reasons behind it are sound (ie to have a more level league, and fat more financial stability with regards clubs), are far more important than his view.
I remember watching rugby in the 80's/90's, when Wigan won everything by having the best team because they bought the best players from other clubs, payed the bigger wages. And nearly went bust because of it.
Given that they are pretty much a shoo in for a top 4 spot next year, what happens if they don't make it again next year?
It's not like Leigh haven't had money problems in the recent past, why would you want to risk a possible return to that.

Dr. Koukash saying he expects several new faces at the club with Hansen, Patterson & Fages also leaving. Won't be surprised if one is Justin Carney.

Can't think why Cas would want Chase back other than if they're losing Gale. As the half backs they got are quality.
Beñ Jones Bishop is also rumored to be going to Cas.
Salford are apparently after Monahan and O'Brein.
Leigh are after anyone they can get there hands on, seeing as they're not bothering with the salary cap.
Kris Welham apparently to Bradford or Wakey.

Agreed, I would be surprised to see Chase at Cas unless as you say they are losing Gale, doesn't make sense but is what I have heard.
I have also heard the Welham to Bradford rumour however again this does not make sense to me, apparently he couldn't agree terms at KR, unless they were offering peanuts I cannot see the Bulls being able to offer more particularly if they do lose to Wakey and have half the salary cap.
Ryan Brierley Leigh to Leeds but loaned back to the former for the next 12 months is another rumour.

Well yes, according to a statement from Leigh at least.
http://www.leighcenturions.com/news/978
I had heard this previously but took it with a pinch of salt, however as the statement says this appears to stem from a private conversation. I just hope all parties are careful when I hear possible illegal approach the ghost of the Iestyn Harris saga floats into my memory with appropriate shivers down my spine.
Regarding Brierley I had heard on a number of occasions that he is going to Leeds next year, does this resonate with anyone else?.
