Mayweather Vs. Cotto - Update: 24/7 Episodes 1, 2 And Now 3
Painting Mayweather to be the bad guy and Cotto the great family man again.
First Episodes ok, second is a bit better. Ratings drop when Floyd isn't on apparently. Suppose slightly unsuprisingly.

think the 1st episode is brilliant.
the second is a little slow with some good moments (all from mayweather).
the man is a a complete tool, but great entertainment.

What the heck was all that about with getting a load of fast food, eating it, then working it off straight away? So random?

Nothing surprising, they're unorthodox with it... I remember a couple 24/7's ago Floyd was eating a hamburger saying I eat whatever the heck I want, I don't need no nutritionist etc
Considering he's one of the fittest, it does make you wonder whether all these boxers with nutritionists and conditioners (i.e Khan with Ariza) it's all worth it?
Floyd keeps it old school has one trainer, works hard and just goes jogging. Also training 3 times a day at times and doing sparring for extended periods.
This all leads me to think that with the whole fantasy match up thing, the fact that the science may have improved in many ways, I wouldn't necessarily say fighters today have an advantage over previous one's.
P.s we musn't forget they weren't doing 12 rounds.

Not sure if they had hand eye coordination trainers and such however.

he constantly drinks fizzy pop (or soda) and eats whatever he wants.
doesnt he always come in under 147? and theres no way he'll weigh the LMW limit.

And people call DeGale stupid. I wonder how many times Floyd's beaten 'Miss Jackson' to a bloody pulp?
Probably never! Anyway, regarding his prison stint, how bad was his 'battery'?
I mean did he simply slap her or was it far more than that? On any level it's too much but there is a big difference.

I actually find Mayweather a bit boring and irratating on these 24/7 things now. He has nothing to say really except the same "money mayweather" charicature over and over again. If you have seen one episode involving Mayweather then you have basically seen it all. The bits with Cotto were more interesting I thought.

Pretty much agree with Manos; I find Mayweather's bling-bling, razzle-dazzle act a bit tiresome now. Biggest PPV star in boxing, the best Betley on the biggest drive way in Vegas, friends with 50 Cent...We know all of this already.
Cotto doesn't have the most telegenic personality, that's for sure, but at least he comes across as sincere and thoughtful.

I think you're being a bit unfair alma, whilst it is probably fair to say 50 cent is not particularly au fait with complex economic policy his knowledge of French philosophy is pretty much without compare, I know he is a huge fan of the post structuralist theories of Jean Baudrillard and rarely leaves the house without his well thumbed copy of Jean Paul Sartre's seminal Critique de la raison dialectique.

Didn't he take the plea bargain because arguing it out in court would have revealed Miss Jackson's drug use. Internet rumours suggest he was restraining her when she was off her box

Somewhat unbelievably I am familiar with Mr Cent, is hard to imagine two more objectionable personalities than him and Floyd, one of the most self obsessed men in the world and one of the most sexist, they are more than welcome to each other.

There's some good, proper, old fashioned Yorkshire values right there, Jeff. Eeeh by gum.
Mind you, if Fiddy's taught me nothing else - and he hasn't - it's that we should hate the game, not the player. Whatever that means.

After hearing 5 seconds of Mayweather talking I think I've heard all he's got to say. Nothing.
