First topic message reminder :

I don't care what the specific role or job description is, please come to England!! Fantastic success record in a variety of squad types in Northampton, NZ, and Chiefs (who were perrenial under-achievers in spite of their squad until this year).

Gutted.
Who else is available? Can't fault Catt's commitment, but not sure he's the answer. Smith had the experience and international credibility that the coaching team needed.

David Campese was mentioned,John Kirwan should ger an interview now at least.Ashton is a proven backs Coach, and should STILL be Head Coach but for RFU internal politics.England should note the following,a strong defence, goal kicker1n the 75%plus class.SH policing of the Breakdown no longer favours the attacking side.Refs are penalising players on the attacking side going off the feet and sealing off at the breakdown, also tip tackles.WELL DONE Wayne Smith NZ Rugby needs you more,Graham Henry is the Man to sort out the Blues.Very
little wrong with THE leading NZ Franchise 8 matches to go a bye plus 5 Home Matches out of them.Dan Carter and Ritchie McCaw to come back full time, tom Taylor with a 92% kicking average.IF they get a Home Qtr and Semi it is a brave man who will bet against them getting a Home Final.Todd Blackadder is a very shrewd Coach. As to NZ 10 .12 simple Dan Carter can`t kick,Cruden can that is your 10/12 combo .Carter will probably start at 12 BUT Cruden at 12 reverting to a traditional 5/8 combo.Won`t happen Cruden ,Nonu,Smith starting
Kahui will probably play Wing SBW in reserves with Carter [until 100% fit. Also would`nt rush MC caw,MattTodd to win his first cap until Captain Tackles is fit. Also don`t write of RM and DC for a big 2015 RWC role they BOTH want it and are very determined men !!!!

Have to disagree with you there Alan. Carter has moved back to 10 and we have specialist 12s in Nonu and SBW. We have Cruden who can be on the bench. There are other goalkicking options like Dagg in the team.

Good news for NZ rugby. Auckland is up the road from the Waikato and defence coach isn't befitting of a man with that expertise and experience. Good on ya mate.

So with the Chiefs leading the Super xv ladder and now Wayne Smith committing to the franchise in Hamilton,I bet theres a guy over at Waihi Beach in rehab with a couple of sore feet thinking "what if".

From what i have read,Todd Blackadder isn`t risking Dan Carter or Ritchie McCaw.Dan Carter is staying at 12,Taylor at 10 until DC can Goal kick again
that is not until end of Super series.Isreal Dagg IS a Goal kicker,BUT has had injury problems recently too.BOTH DC and Dagg fully fit are automatic choices
BUT are they fully fit?Dagg has NEVER kicked at test level so will they riskit??
