He did look like he was let out on day release, and they had wheeled him in "Hannibal Lector" style. And I am a fan of his.....Woy's not Hannibal's.

Question

Mamadou Sakho.....Branislav Ivanovic......Gary Cahill

Who would your CB pairing be? I really would like to make Sakho my captain, but I think Ivanovic and Cahill would work well as a CB (former Chelsea) pairing.

Got Vidal, Strootman and Khedira playing in front of them. It is like a wall at Real Ale.............no balls shall pass Wink

I like Lichtsteiner as my RB though. It gives me pace on the FB position, with Adriano on the other side.

Strongly thinking about playing 5-3-2 next season, because of the strength of the teams I will be with.

Too defensive IMO. Something like that you need more attacking mids.

I think if you went for the back five, Vidal and Khedira DM and got an attacking mid who could run about the place it could work though.

How many players, from the original squad draft picks, do people still have?

I have 3 Shocked

I think this proves that the whole draft picking was a very good idea. We was worried that people would just stick with who they picked, but there have been a lot of chances per team.

Rules changes for Season 2

Tactics & Voting

Tactics and voting are to be in promptly on the dates required.
If these deadlines are not met then the following happens:

1. The offending party receives a -1 goal to their score immediately.
2. If after 24 hours they have failed to still hand in tactics/votes then they receive a default loss for that week.
3. If this happens on a regular basis the manager shall be removed from their position.

If there is a valid reason as to why you cannot provide tactics or votes on time then this must be informed to the league runner as soon as possible.

Media Page

Each week 5 questions are provided by reporters, everyone has the opportunity to answer these for a 1m boost to kitty.

Manager of the Month

Every month there is a poll put up for manager of the month (the previous month's winner is excluded), the winner gets to use a magic sponge on a player that is injured at any point the following month to recover that player for that week.

Also to note the cash injection for the team pre season will be as follows:

League Winner: 10m
Teams placed 2nd to 4th: 5m
Teams placed 5th to 8th: 20m

The leagues for next season will be split so that the top four clubs from each league this season will go into The Premier League, the bottom four clubs from each league will go into the Championship.

Hero, I have explained my problem several times. What day will Tactics need to be in for??

Every month there is a poll put up for manager of the month (the previous month's winner is excluded), the winner gets to use a magic sponge on a player that is injured at any point the following month to recover that player for that week.

After next weeks games, I will be posting an updated squad listing on a new Transfer Confirmation page ready for Season 2.

That way a list of players, and players transfered after the list was made, will be in one place. Therefore there should not be any excuse of making TP bids for players already in the league.

Hero. start looking for a manager, get a waiting list up. Unfortunately I cant commit to wednesdays so it will probably be by the time four/five weeks have passed the following would of happened:
1. The offending party receives a -1 goal to their score immediately.
2. If after 24 hours they have failed to still hand in tactics/votes then they receive a default loss for that week.
3. If this happens on a regular basis the manager shall be removed from their position.

I actually didnt until first week of handing in. I wasnt around alot when you set this up due to work, If you recall I was one of if not the last persons to hand in List of Players for Draft. Im pretty sure everyone was waiting for me, people were joking round giving me 12pm deadline etc and it may of been Afro, Sod, TSC (whoever was helping out) said get it in by 5pm.

If I was aware I would of said something, most likely along the lines of...Its not broke so why fix it?

It was agreed for Wednesday as there are a few of us that had WWA shows to write, which was also on Friday. Like Hero said though, it has always been Wednesday for this new league.

What is the problem with you not being able to post it on Wednesday but being able to if it was Friday? I mean you haven't PM'd results on a Friday either...........which is the same time that you would prefer to get your tactics in Erm

TwisT, ive explain several times. Midweek is my busiest time at work. On Friday afternoons Groundsmen/Greenkeepers/Schools/Councils are all either finishing early and gone for the day or will have ordered what they need for the weekend. Thus My fridays afternoons are quiet.

I mean you haven't PM'd results on a Friday either...........which is the same time that you would prefer to get your tactics in
Bonus incentive is lost from not handing tactics in so why vote?

I cant commit to it week in week out as I dont know exactly how busy I will be. So its just a heads up to find a manager.
That is all.

What do you mean don't vote, just because you don't get a bonus? That is disrespectful to the other guys in the league, where your results could change results (like last week for instance).

Only thing I can suggest is posting lawyers and injuries up of a Friday afternoon. I would be happy to take charge of that for your league next season. That way you will know your injuries, and plan for the following weeks game on Friday. Then just PM it to one of us, and we will post it for you on Wednesday OK

What do you mean don't vote, just because you don't get a bonus? That is disrespectful to the other guys in the league, where your results could change results (like last week for instance).
Im not the only one who does it TwisT. Also When I did vote one week after not the previous two someone figured it out and had a go at me.
That is disrespectful to the other guys in the league
works both ways.

Only thing I can suggest is posting lawyers and injuries up of a Friday afternoon. I would be happy to take charge of that for your league next season. That way you will know your injuries, and plan for the following weeks game on Friday. Then just PM it to one of us, and we will post it for you on Wednesday
That would be might nice of you. But you dont work around me, that isnt fair.

I am actually trying to build a team for next season and have every intent on being consistant.

It would not be working round you. It would be just a different date to post lawyers and injuries up. Everyone would benefit, but you more so as you can then take part easily.

If I say I will post lawyers/injuries of a Friday lunchtime (around 1pm) for the following gameweek, would you be able to take part?

Most defo. I would know my injury so If I can PM tactics to someone not a problem. PMing tactics would just be a precaution in case I am really busy on a wednesday

Sorted TwisT.

Pogba is being sold as per lawyer offer. If anyone wants to beat £4m he is yours.
Adel Taarabt will also be departing the club. Should you wish to purchase him the current bid is at £7m.

Please let me know by 12pm.

Sessegnon is also up for sale.
