Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
To be honest the first 20 mins was the most encouraging display i've seen from an Ireland team in a long time. Positives were the breakdown and fitzpatrick. Negatives were didn't look like scoring a try (apart from the breakaway), and falling off to many tackles. You can't beat the AB's with that kind of defending.
Forwards were good. Backs were pretty clueless, they can't break down any type of defence.
AB's just on another level though.

Murrays pass is soooo slow, I know he looks like Phillips but didn't realise he played so much like him!

Yes Morne you miss that kick!
Ah not surprised, saw the Robshaw turnover, I think we look a bit better organised in defence and counter attack than before. Previous regimes we would've kicked turnover ball away!

We look good when we play but tactic to kick is playing into Bok hands. Farrell not great and hindering attacking play as expected. Pack going well and Youngs looking a threat

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
Youngs looked alright for the five minutes I saw, it looks like we could do with Flood on to get a counter attacking threat up. It looks like we have a better turnover threat, considering they have no Brussow

And Flood, he could've kicked today and added a much better attacking threat for players like Barritt and Tuilagi to run lines off.

Like TJ but he's too lightweight, we need a big carrying option.
Where's Bathite??? Might have to start looking for a new Bath manager

Yep thanks mate. What do you think I need more- a replacement for Nieto, an enforcer at lock or a physical centre to bosh it up the middle (I don't think I need the last one but worry that others might)?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
I think maybe a beast of a second rower, Pape would be good to partner Borthwick. Although a young TH could be good. You up for a deal mate, got Wilson, Mercey and Brookes available

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
Just seen Brown and Barritt out of the next test, shame consdering they both played relatively well and deserved a second shot at the Boks with some alterations elsewhere.
What was interesting is that Faletau broke his hand, could be the reason he didn;t play so well yesterday IMO.

Right chaps, sorry about the radio silence, had some time off to move house and completely forgot to let you all know. Returned to a mountain of emails at work and don't have internet at home until Wednesday, but wanted to let you all know i'm back.
Right, what have I missed, what do I need to do? teamsheet, predictions, bids etc? All the pages are a sea of red, not sure where to start

BATH Update
Manager Bathite returns from his 10 day trip, whitebait fishing in the NZ countryside and announces his intention to revitalise his squad. He has encouraged all premiership rival clubs to make offers for his players.
Bath's recruitment strategy focuses on getting in a top fly half and he is willing to lose some of his foreign talent in order to acheive this. In general, he is looking to add EQ players to his squad
Let the deals commence.....
