I hate Higgins too. In order to "sting" someone they've got to at least partially go along with it. If I was a paper the last person I'd have gone after was Higgins because I though he was whiter than white. The papers clearly knew otherwise.

no its not a crime, but you dont know the players so why get personal- we are here to watch snooker- well sorry i will rephase that- i am here to watch snooker. and we have just witnessed a golden few frames courtesy of ronnie, and for some reason i dont think you lot have enjoyed it!

Well that was when it was what? 10-8 or 11-8 so could have been crucial. Robbo made a horlicks of a break-off and even the Ronnie Fan Club in the commentary box conceded that and Ronnie hit a century. If you are looking for backside kissing here you are wasting your time.

From what i saw of the afternoon session. Robbo was very poor and looked clueless but Ronnie also finished him off with aplomb.

I have a feeling that Maguire is the only one left with the game to beat Ronnie but will he be mentally strong enough to.

Very, very true eire. Even Ronnie said Maguire could dominate but he lacks the mental toughness that Higgins, Hendry or even Dott have. Mags isn't in for an easy semi though.

Jones breakbuilding has been by far the most exciting in this tournament.. but his mistakes have been in the safety departmnet. He's going to be formidable player. Very Happy

I concentrate on the good snooker calendoian - and that is from any player- i dont have a favourite. Well i do admit i have allways favoured stylish players like hurricanne higgins, jimmy white, ronnie, trumpy, williams(he was a proper potting machine in his peak) etc.

Trust me if ronnie was giving his disrespectfull bs i would be with you all. but he isnt and has played some great snooker this time around and in fairness after watching some of the other games this year i was close to forgetting about this WC- now i wanna dust of my cue and get down my local club!

Yes he has been pretty well-behaved but was disrespecting the ref earlier not allowing time to respot the pink earlier (even ex-coach Terry thought as much) and we have those moron fans of his (those at The Crucible I mean) letting phones go off TWICE when Robbo was down to play shots earlier today.

just watch the frames you missed billy- you are being led down the garden path, the last frame before the mid session interval was out of this world. and if people cant get exited after watching that winning break from a decent break off- there isnt much hope for snooker

Already twice in this tournement players have come from behind with 4 frams on the trott to win.

Players playing with nothing to lose are dangerous, thats why getting over the line can be difficult.

I still have hope for Robbo.

I know we're only watching 1 match here but can I give a shout out to Ali Carter? I didn't give him a hope in hell against Mark Davis but here he is, 2 frames away from the semi finals.

Come on, I don't like Ronald but how exactly do you "let your phone go off"? Like I said earlier there was as much disturbance (hardly any) in the other sessions I was at as at Ronald's. It is amazing how many people are incapable of turning off or turning to silent their phones when asked. Averaged one every frame probably in a crowd of less than a thousand.
