the students are in fine voice for this one for sure, it's been bloody noisy on the streets outside for a good couple of hours now, but a but of silence one hopes while they're in the stadium Smile

Fair enough pal, I know of the flats in that area. Must've been a good spot for the arms park matches!

It's a smaller crowd then they had last year I reckon. But c'mon, tis an excuse for a massive urine up, of course there's going to be a good student crowd!

From what I have seen, the Cardiff Uni no10 is better than Sweeney and Parks combined....although so is the uni no1.

3 tries now, awful conversion attempt though :/

Its allright, we have Halfpenny to take kicks at the Blues...anyone know the no10s name?

The defence is pretty poor from Swansea to be honest. Cardiff look very well drilled though, they have been holding Swansea out on the line for the last 5 minutes.

True. I watch my local club who are in Divison 2 (I think) East and the standard in this game is better than that normally is

Cardiff Uni normally have a very good rugby team, not sure if they play in the divisions though? Just inter-uni.

4th try for Cardiff puts the game beyond doubt at 28 - 13 with 5 minutes remaining.

That Cardiff no10s tactical kicking has been great, his place kicking is woeful though, Cardiff have lost a lot of points from the boot, 1/5 conversions I think.

Me too! Swansea Uni or Cardiff? Always a brilliant day out. I played in the fresher's rugby for a few years (lenient rules).

Poor game from Swansea last night. Cardiff's defence was outstanding, and their captain Jake Cooper-Woolley was brilliant- outstanding in the loose. Swansea had no one competing at the breakdown, and ball retention was poor. Still, got to let Cardiff win at least a few Whistle

While it's nice cardiff and swansea have this, i think it should be UWIC v a cardiff/swansea side. UWIC are by far the best team in wales (and one of the top sides in britain) and it would be nice to see them dish out a tuning to the bigger name uni's.

Guessing someone's got affiliations with UWIC....? Swansea Cardiff is a tradition, and it should stay that way.

UWIC play in the same league as both Swansea and Cardiff, and are currently in 4th, behind Cardiff. To say they are by far the best team in Wales doesn't quite add up at the current time. Very good team, yeh they are.

Not sure if it's still the case. The following article is from 2010;

"Gareth Jenkins and Chris Davey discuss the new partnership between the Scarlets and University of Wales Cardiff, UWIC."
