Murray Has Back Injury
Murray has a back injury and has been forced to withdraw from Madrid.
Britain’s Andy Murray, the world number four, will miss the Mutua Madrid Open after suffering an unfortunate back injury.
The world number four regretfully informed us of his withdrawal from the Madrid competition: “It is with regret that on doctors advice I have to withdraw from the Mutua Madrid Open with injury.

Tough luck for him. A valuable week lost in the run-up to RG.

I heard that Kim did not take kindly to Andy's interview with Frost.

I have to admit I am a little surprised at the lack of concern about Murray's injury...

Looks like in general the activity in 606v2 has come down a lot.
The (forced) departure of certain posters with strong opinions has left the forum a bit flat...

Or simply that the back-stabbers aren't taking up the bait laid down by Hawkeye which is just as it should be. Andy has a back injury - evidently nothing serious or I am sure there would have been more made of it. A week or so of rest will suffice so no need for a full scale debate into it or else where are the topics for every other injured player on the men's circuit?

Re: Murray Has Back Injury
Its been a quiet week tennis-wise...the top level action starts again from today. Lets not forget Djokovic and Federer particularly havent played much recently...thats what tends to keep these forums ticking over - the top players against each other.
I dont know about others - and dont get me wrong - but I've often got better things to be doing than posting ad nauseum on tennis forums as the evenings get lighter - I'd rather playing be playing tennis than talking about it given the chance! That said I'm sure there'll be lots to discuss this week seen as the courts are causing controversy amongst the top players. Even Dr Ivo. Murray'll be back (pardon the pun) soon.
There's lots of high level matches starting today...we need a match thread!
