Is Tiriac an eccentric genius revolutionary?
Grass shoes on Blue Clay?
Rafael Nadal tells reporters in Madrid that he asked the ATP to allow him to play with grass-court shoes on the blue clay, but he wasn’t allowed to because rules prevent it.

Mr I(R)on 'Fluorescent Balls' Tiriac admits that the Blue Clay court is slippery but can be fixed.
''To me that's not tennis. Either I come out with football shoes or I invite Chuck Norris to advise me how to play on this court,'' said Djokovic, who like Rafael Nadal has been critical of the new-look surface. ''Center court is impossible to move on."

Re: Grass shoes on Blue Clay?
Today's tennis players are wussies. I would go on the court with my motorbike, do a few wheelspins, get off, put on my rugger boots, get out my oak racket and start playing. If the umpire gave me penalty points, I would look at him with a wild mad and threatening stare, then put my sunglasses on, get on my motorbike, do a few wheel spins and then head on out of the joint.

In all that get-up would you head out of the joint, or smoke one?
If Nadal wants to wear cramp-ons then let him I say...Tiriac shouldnt have allowed a clay court to have become something close to a curling event.
