What should we do with the wrestling section?
The Wrestling section
I’ve been thinking over the wrestling boards at the weekend as the volume of people obviously rose due to Mania and wished to put something to you all.
Do you like the wrestling section as it is?
Or would you prefer it with more subsections?
At present I think interesting topics or often going to the bottom simply due to volume, I posted about the ROH event over the weekend unaware that Fernando already had posted it as it had quickly dropped as everyone was chatting about Mania.
So the options I see are:
a) Remain as we are in all one place with the subsections of efedding & gaming remaining
b) Create 3 new subsections for WWE, TNA & Indys
c) Create 4 new subsections for WWE, TNA, Indys & old school (pre WWE/WCW merger)
d) Create 11 new subsections for RAW, Smackdown, NXT, PPVs, Tough Enough, FCW, TNA, ROH, WCW, ECW, other Indys
What are everyone’s opinions on this?
Think of this as a brainstorming session where no idea is a bad idea. We want this to be for you guys so your comments are important.

Re: The Wrestling section
C seems like a good option, D just becomes too busy to navigate properly - from my forum experience anyway.

Re: The Wrestling section
I think option C is the best option, and will keep things tidy on the board and threads that intrest people are easily found.

Could actually have a section for any spoiler threads as well....

Re: The Wrestling section
From my experiance WWE fans don't normally visit the TNA sections and vice versa and when they do very seldom do they generally aren't intrested in a progressive conversation, keeping it in the one section allows people to notice things they may otherwise miss

Wouldn't TNA be better as the 'Comedy Section' or 'Wrestling Bloopers'?

Can we add reports of Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio, and Randall K Orton matches in that section too?

Yes, absolutely.
We would need a seperate sub forum just for Jeff hardy though!

Re: The Wrestling section
A for sure. It's fine as it is. Seems that people don't go beyond page 1 though sometimes. Is there a way to get more threads on a page? It's better than old 606 where a thread would disappear never to be seen again in a matter of hours sometimes. At least here one could bump a thread right back to the top.

Re: The Wrestling section
I like the idea of having lots of different sections, but I'm just not sure whether it would begin to mess up the section...

Re: The Wrestling section
I think the idea of having ELEVEN is completely overkill and some people will never visit certain parts of those sub forums which is a shame as it could kill topics

Option A. I don't see a reason to change everything every week.

Re: The Wrestling section
Thing is I worry something like the indies page will not get much attention. Not much will get posted, thus those who do post won't have much to discuss, thus those who may have visited it don't bother Cos there's never much going on. I'm much more likely to read an article on ROH if it's in the main section than actually look for an ROH thread.

Re: The Wrestling section
It looks increasingly like the vote is there to keep the section as it is so we shall continue with it as it is.
If the coming months there's a change of opinion we'll review it again but for now the one section shall remain.
Thank you all for voting!

Re: The Wrestling section
personally i think it should stay as it is due to everyone commenting on every company and brings good debates from it. if separate it tna and indy board will be neglected. due to people more interested in wwe
