Manu Tuilagi hit with citing
First topic message reminder :

In my opinion I didn't think it was that bad but if he is cited and misses the tests against South Africa then it gives Jonathan Joseph a chance. I hope he's not cited though.

I'm just a miserable sod really!
No pleasing me sometimes
Interestingly nobbled, being another miserable sod I am a bit sad that manu is going sub-saharan this summer. What the likes of Manu, Flood, Youngs(B), Parling, Cole etc. need is a rest.
When do these guys get a decent time of R&R?

I agree Portnoy, less with Cole and Parling as they've been rotated and haven't played all season. The likes of Ben Youngs and Manu really do need some serious rest as neither have been at their best this season after spending last summer in RWC prep as opposed to resting.

Re: Manu Tuilagi hit with citing
I agree on Manu possibly benefitting from a summer off. Youngs and Flood have missed a fair bit of rugby through injury or sitting ion the bench for England over the last year or so so havent had quite the same workload, although both looked jaded after the world cup. As rest wouldnt do any of them any harm.
Cole, at least hes been sat on the bench for Tigers most of the time during the club season. I suspect this is the reason why hes stayed relatively injury free for an international prop.
