I'm in the Medway area to, I play my regular golf down at deangate as they do a good membership option. There's a few of us that have a regular roll up and play. Were always happy to welcome along a new face and is exactly how I got to play regularly.
Pm me ya details gwilson and we can have a knock.
Ps who is Maverick I've seen his name mentioned many times but never seen him on the board! Is he the scarlett pimpernell because seems to be elusive

No worries mate, I'll pm my details over to you.
Only played southern valley the once but we chose a bad day to play it so may need to go back to get to enjoy it fully.
Keane! Hmmm in all honesty I'm not amongst the B'burn fans that think it was his fault, dealt a really bad hand by the chicken mongers and unfortunately couldn't get enough out of it. Only worry is how we go forward now!

Well, maybe only his ghost or reputation. sadly the actual mav departed these shores for the sunnier and generally nicer california.
I hope your kids get some Jelly, I cant see any other benefit to the Jubilee. I feel like the only person left who would happily administer rat poison to all members of the royal family. The love in has passed me by.
Oh man, and I still have to suffer the olympics.

Mac, I actually share your sentiment re: the royals and the olympics. However the 2 little ones have been telling me all about it and they've been learning it at school so I've agreed to take them to a jubilee party.
I wouldn't mind if someone cancelled the olympics period and never had to suffer the games again.

Couldn't give a stuff about the royals but a party is a party.
The Olympics will be brilliant , really don't get all the whinging, it's a more or less once on a lifetime thing so people should enjoy them and for me the Olympics is still easily the best sporting event in the world , nothing else comes close.

Share my time between London and Medway/Kent. ALways up for a game if there's a get together although I'll have to get down the range first!

Gwilson, Tony B.
I'm away from next friday for a little over 2 weeks, but up for a game in around the area at a course mutually suitable for all, from 10th July.

Maverick is in the process of moving himself and his family to the States which is why you have not seen any postings from him for a while. Whether or not he will start again once he has moved, I don't know - but he was another one who moved to the "other side"!

Gwilson, Fader.
July sounds good, available to play anywhere in Kent.
Have nt played, Deangate, Lullingstone, Southern Valley or Cobtree Manor for a while. Also would nt mind playing a course in Kent that I have nt visited before.

Re: Newbie...looking for regular game in Kent - Dartford are - mid to high hcp ?
Tony B: I'm happy to play a course I've never visited either there's plenty in the area one I fancy is Kingshill or Tudor Park. However not played Southern Valley either and heard good things. Lullingstone is quite nice played there a few weeks ago. So basically I'm happy to go anywhere.
Mac: do you mean Royal Cinque Ports! Looks very nice lots of history, not sure I'd fancy it in this current wet weather though but definitely one play if I get a chance.

I've played Tudor Park twice and would nt recommend it tbh.
