On a lovely day for running rugby Harlequins have named what they consider to be one of the most exciting teams which could be found on the planet. With the urge to run the ball all day long they are looking to play an entertaining brand of rugby and score some tries.

If you want to organise a friendly against another team for this week let me know and I will put it on this thread. Teams to be in by Friday night and predos open all weekend. If you can predict please do but no worries if you can't. There is no cash for predicting in these games, they are purely for fun. Player restrictions are between you and your opponent to decide. Let me know if you want a match adding to the thread.

Re: Friendlies Match Thread
"I know you have issues with Dickson Pooly but he is considerably better than Lloyd Williams for my money."
No issues with Dickson at all Steve, think he's a really good scrum half. Im a fan of Williams too that's why I said there's little between them.

Re: Friendlies Match Thread
Lloyd Williams is a class act at 9 , best service out of all the Welsh 9s.

Re: Friendlies Match Thread
He's service is deffo ahead of two step Phillips. Wales would be better if they played Williams at 9.

Re: Friendlies Match Thread
Irish 31 - 29 Tigers
Would like to see a bit more grunt in the Tigers backline, bit too much flair for me and you need to get over the gainline and rough it up a bit e.g. a player like Basteroud.
Sarries 25 - 22 Wasps
Even battle up front, though Sarries edge front 3. Would say even all over the rest of the pack though, really like Mafi. Great balance to Sarries backline there.
Exeter 25 - 28 Quins
Really good attacking teams, think Quins are a bit more mobile in the pack/around the park - will be a close game, but Quins have a few more WC players on display - will be all important next season!

Re: Friendlies Match Thread
Sarries 20-24 Quins
Both Looseheads will dominate here, can see Sarries locking out in the locks come scrum time but Saints will win the backrow battle. Two good 10's but can see better ball coming to Ford. Sarries will get some edge in the centres but Saints have the better finishers here.
Exeter 18-20 Quins
Front row to Quins with Exeter edging the 2nd row. 2 big backrows but Warbs will be on top in this game. Like the Exeter half backs and can see Williams giving quicker ball. Big clash in the centres and wings with Exeter's power just not enough, Robinson vs Ngwenya in a foot race would be interesting! Can see the breakdown winning it for Quins.
Irish 30-28 Leicester
Pack to Tigers with Irish getting something from their back row but Tigers dominating at the set piece. I like Beale at 10 but think McAlister will be a better playmaker with quick ball. This match will be down to the wings finishing fast paced moves and feel Irish will score the points here but Tigers will keep it close up front.
Sarries 25-22 Wasps
Pack to Sarries with just a bit more quality however, I really like the balance of Wasps' 4-8. Same in the backs with Sarries having too much here and a better balance.
Anyone fancy a friendly next week?
