Scott looked really slow there again too. What is wrong with our backs today?? I don't understand.
Oh God, Hooky's having one of those days. Great.

Bar some nice touches at fly-half, Hook is terrible. The guy is a show-boater. Aus are impressive.

Australia are missing more important guys though you have to admit - Cooper, Beale and O'Connor.
North is the real loss for Wales in this game, unfortunate he went off.

Re: Wallabies v Wales match day teams and matchday thread
Evans, AWJ, Roberts and now North.
4 of our key and best players. Think it's a bit twp just to say Australia are the only ones missing some of their key players.
Oh that and we're without our coach.
Great run by Cuthburt!!

Now that's just Flip shocking, allowing Aus to put us into touch there. My sky just went on the blip then, I'm pretty sure I heard Tim Horan commentating so missed what the penalty was for.

I'm not saying that though am I dreamer?
I was just responding to wales' comment in isolation. I know Wales have key players out too.

Charteris was your first choice during the RWC? And Davies in the 6 nations before his ban.

Davies only played against Ireland because Charteris was out.

Front 5 out muscled, no platform and slow ball.
I knew OZ would be good, I didn't expect us to be so poor. Clueless rugby.

yep and then the rest of the tournament it was AWJ and Evans. They are our 1st choice 2nd row.
Oh yeah now the commentators are finally picking up on the lack of game time of our centres - and sound surprised they are looking off the pace!

Fair points Rory. But most would agree Evans is now our 1st choice lock after a great season. Not much to choose between the 4 options though.

Keep positive Dreamer! Don't starting with the excuse yet. Still time on the clock and Australians ply three games in one week so they will get tired soon!

not an excuse, twas a response to those listing the Australia players that were out.
Said well before this match started (i.e the last couple of weeks) that we'd be rusty in the first match, and thought our best chance of a win would be the 2nd test we play. Haven't seen anything here so far today to change my mind.

ooo maybe typing too soon, that looked better from Wales.
Ouch, horrible hits going through on a lot of players.

Arggg, they can't cross the line.
Looks like Beck will be coming on, S.Williams doesn't look happy.
Lets see what the Ospreys can do to turn this around - big moment for his first cap.

Re: Wallabies v Wales match day teams and matchday thread
You have to say though that the 3 Australian guys that are out (Cooper, Beale and O'Connor) are complete game changers. Wales are missing North right now, but he is the only one who can change the game like that. I don't think Roberts, AWJ or Evans would have made a difference here at all.

Most media and poster suggest this week is Wales best chance dreamer! Maybe that's what others make the comment on. Australia missing so many players and fatigue from Scotland test and SXV one week ago!
i still think Wales will win today..

I think Wales need to push for the try.
Scott Williams with a potential broken jaw.
Beck has 3 games to prove a point then.
