The Tension Coming Already
So! Is just me or is it get hot in here?
With international season coming around there is suddenly a bit more electricity to the air and some tighten up on the tensions!
For anotherworldofpain, an impartiality and unbias lover of the game is a great time to watching all nations and also they fans!
Already I can see a lot of new (and old returning) poster make an appearance and have a cheeky snipe near a ruck or try the luck with a little post into space! (so to speaking).
So before is getting really heat on here and inevitable somebody step over the line and get the yellow card (or red!) from the moderator I just want to say "Good Luck!" to every one about the weekend and there tours and hope you getting the result you deserving!
And for the moderator who will have the busiest time of all here then wish you some good luck and make the thanks to you again for hard work to keep the site on and civil place to make a discuss the rugby!

That's not tension, GG, it's just a huge fart building up - enjoy the summer games, and hopefully we'll catch you at the 606v2 London drinks (to be arranged)

Re: The Tension Coming Already
Tension, what tension?
Everyone on here has been so nice and pleasant toward one another, no complaints, no reports, the wlesh and the english have been getting on swimmingly, no WUMs nothing yet.
Oh, wait, they aren't playing one another.
There is a common enemy to invade, the colonies.
And as we all know the colonies do their talking on the pitch side.

Which will be the first fans to buckle?
Who will be run for the safety of blame the referee? or start to making excuses:
1) Rusty
2) Tired
3) Injury
4) Rebuilding
5) Referee/TMO/Assistant
6) Travel
7) "Moral Victory"
8) "Encouraging sign"
Or so on?
Which set of fans will be the most gracious about a defeat? or the most noble in victory? and which will be the biggest babies?

Only time will tell but I have a sneaky feeling that the victors will be modest and the beaten fans scathing of the ref, their injuries and the offsides and forward passes that went unnoticed. Lots of Steve Walsh threads next week methinks.

Yup-especially with refereeing being such a matter of interpretation that anyone can lambast any whistleblower for not picking up several penalties the winning team should have conceded!

Re: The Tension Coming Already
I don't think they're ugly winners - it's usually their responses to those who are critical of their win - Their initial response to victory is usually positive, then the inferior neurotics come out and the winners feel they have to stand up for their team. I don't see that as being an ugly winner.

Re: The Tension Coming Already
Here is a list of my excuses.
1. No Schalk Burger - he is a terrier, the english will run around whilst covering their eyes in fear of his fingers, so the rest of the team can run around.
2. No Juan Smith - Destroyer of men, teams and nations.
3. No Johan Goosen - against an inexperienced Farrel, this young man will run circles around him.
4. Selection - Don't know yet, will tell you after the game.
5. Bryce Lawrence - he has scarred us for life attacking the breakdown, our hesitancy will count against us.
6. Paul Honiss - Ireland 2004, our nervous twitches every time England gets a penalty will burn too many calories as we await to see what decision is made.
7. Old coach, players will long for the days when they ran the ship
8. New coach, they don't know him yet.
9. No preparation time.
10. Fatigue from the Super XV
11. Wives, you know how they can carry on about something
12. Steve Walsh, he doesnt like our currency.
13. bounce of the ball,
14. luck
15. Bryce Lawrence, he scarred us for life by refusing to talk to our captain, so JdV will be too afraid to open his mouth.
16. Whatever

Re: The Tension Coming Already
sorry ruby orgot about that.
1. We executed our plan.
2. Even though we didn't have enough time to prepare, we knew each other and trusted each other.
3. bounce of the ball.
4. Bryce Lawrence, we learnt from that and decided we will never intimidate a referee again, the scones and whiskey must have helped.
5. Our currency may be weak, but our gold bullion did the trick.
6. Morne steyn was a star.
7. Earl Rose gave us a motivational speech.
8. We were lucky.
9. Who needs schalk burger
