Steve Bruce offered the Hull City managers job
Hull City have offered the vacant managers job to Steve Bruce , talks are ongoing as Bruce wants assurances on how much control he would have at the club .
It is rumoured that City are also in talks with another candidate should Bruce turn them down believed to be Billy Davies .
A announcement is expect friday .

Not Sure about Bruce.
He has a history of walking out on clubs as soon as a better offer comes along. And spends lots of money, then spends more when most of his signings don't work for whatever reason. But he is a better choice of the 2, don't understand why Clarke or McCarthy aren't higher up to be honest.

And already the links to Sunderland players begins, with Craig Gordan, and ex city players Micheal Turner & Fraiser Campbell all mentioned.
While all 3 would be excellent additions, not sure that we would be there first choices, will just have to see what happens.
