Sydney morning herald...!
"It is also believed the scuffle broke out after the pair, who had previously left the venue, wanted to resume drinking but were denied access in the early hours of this morning.
CCTV footage caught vision of the incident and the pair could face further police questioning."

I know the aussies said they respected the Welsh and there were things they did they hoped to emulate.
not sure copying Philips, Henson & Powell is all that sensible.
ps If they had been Saffers then I accept the same comment could have been made referencing Care, Cipriani, Foden & Armitage.

Didn't you hear, LT, we don't drink much, we rather go into the country side and steal sign posts.

Stealing them is a waste of time - turn them round and get people lost instead.

I don't imagine Robbie "Dingo" Deans will be so lenient, an rightly so, it is now a professional game and players are in the limelight, particularly international ones, they have to learn to act accordingly..!

I thought that the Aus team normally sent out a senior player when the younger guys went on social excursions in order to keep an eye on them?

Deans' critics in Aus actually think he's too lenient on the younger stars - odd, because at the Crusaders the team became one big family, and if they were going to have drinks they generally organised a private venue.

Aye, Quade Cooper was keeping an eye on Beale
Australia have very few senior players, especially as Nathan Sharpe goes to bed at 9pm straight after his horlicks.

He didnt exactly clamp down on their behaviour after previous incidents did he? JOC doesnt seem to have any problem getting selected despite his epic drinking exploits as well.

The lengths some players will go to avoid playing the mighty welsh - they know the writings on the wall and they are going for the easy option rather than face George and his mates

Re: Cooper and Beale naughty boys
I heard Cooper is pressing charges against the hotel staff. One of the doormen allegedly said that Cooper was no different drunk than when he was sober on the rugby field. He was still prone to brain freezes and liable to make a fool of himself when sober. Beale agreed and that's when Cooper spat the dummy.

JOC was released from the squad when his drinking exploits interfered with Wallaby commitments...!

If they were refused entry, why didn't Cooper just break in? I thought that was his speciality?
