Your football side meets WWE
A very simmilar thread to the one about what wrestler you are at work. Now lets what players are at your football club when they care compared to WWE superstars.
Ill start of with my club Brighton
Vicente - The Rock - When they acctually show up they steel the show and really electrify the crowd. Dont turn up every week but when they do they make a amazing diffrence to what usually happens.
Jake Forster Caskey - Dolph Ziggler. Managment really taking there time into make them into a star. But have there wonder moment (Dolph at the rumble against Punk and Caskey's motm debut against Southampton) but dont remain the main event/1st team picture.
Ashley Barnes - Sheamus -A lot of mixed reviews about the both. Dont perform constnally but are always considerd vital to the company due to there goal scoring and wins.
Over too you guys!

Newcastle.
Mike Ashley - Dolph Ziggler - He'd sell anything.
Cheick Tiote - Randy Orton - Loves a suspension.
Fabricio Coloccini - The Rock - Exactly that.
Hatem Ben Arfa - The Miz - He's awesome.

Norwich
Grant Holt - Big Show - Loves his food, and always performs.
Elliott Ward - Jackson Andrews - Tall man with no ability whatsoever.
David Fox - Cody Rhodes - Just fluid and very under the radar player.
Wes Hoolahan - CM Punk - The lynchpin, and a creative force.

Jelavic - Ryback - only been around 5 minutes but has destroyed everyone in his path.
Neville - Cena - supposedly the face of the team/company (ok well captain at the very least) but he is actually Poopie and hated by the fans!
Osman - Regal - been around a while now and always does a good job but never gets the deserved praise.
Anichebe - Lord Tensai - some people think he's good. Turns out he's just a big lump of a man that is actually not very good at his profession.
Donovon - The Rock - seems to come and go as he pleases but always delivers when he's there (arguably no longer the case for the Rock!)
Coleman - Horswoggle. Ok I'm running out of ideas!

Steve Kean – X-Pac – gets some serious heat, everyone wants him gone.
The Yak –Big Show – see example above. The man loves his food!
David Goodwillie – Drew McIntyre - decent Scotsman who deserves more time to show what he can do.

Man Utd:
De Gea – Sin Cara, newcomer, flaps about a bit, botches a bit too much and replacing a legend
Evra – Chris Jericho, past his best, gobby and gets himself in trouble due to it
Rafael – ADR, thinks he’s better than he actually, when he came in people thought he’d be great, now not so sure
Rio – HHH, coming to end of career, has been linked with taking things but never proven
Scholes – The Undertaker, comes out of retirement and is still better than most others
Fletcher – Randy Orton, poops at the wrong time, dependable but not the most charismatic.
Carrick – Cena, splits opinion but always makes the first team
Giggs – Kane, always put on a great show but never the headline act, given brief award late in career for services
Rooney – CM Punk, threatens to walk out but is still the best thing going and we'd be up the creek without him
Berbatov – The Great Khali, moves about as fast and should be offloaded
Nani – The Miz, flits in and out of favour, could be great but too inconsistent
Valencia – Ziggler, just gets on with and puts on match winning performances most weeks

Not my team but Raul Meireles - CM Punk purely because they look exactly like each other

Really? Maybe it is just me but whenever I see Meireles playing I can't help but see Punk

I've heard others say it as well. I don't see it personally though.
I do think Edge and Carroll look alike though, so much so, that when I first heard Carroll speak I was already expecting Edge's voice.

Look at them both with short hair and they still look similar. It's their faces, the gaunt cheeks I think.

I've got a couple more for Brighton
Gordon Greer - Randy Orton - Vital to the company, but does stupid things and gets suspended.
Adam El-Abd - CM Punk- Been with the company for a while and now starting to hit there peek.

Re: Your football side meets WWE
Benoit Assout Ekotto - Kofi Kingston - stupid hair the fans love him but not going to be winning gold anytime soon.
Ledley King - Rey Mysterio - Dodgy knees, seems squeeky clean fan favourite but .....
Gareth Bale - Giant Gonzalez - Was Giant Gonzalez mean't to look like a gorilla? Cos Gareth bale looks like Donkey Kong...

Re: Your football side meets WWE
I'm an Ipswich fan so
Jay Emmanuel-Thomas-Kofi Kingston, plenty of flair but it not always effective
Arran Lee Barratt- Sin cara, can be good but botches a lot
Michael Chopra- Scott Hall, likes a drink and a bet but is very relaible
Aaron Cresswell- Rey Mysterio, solid but can occasionaly produce a bit of magic
Jimmy Bullard- Santino, the joker of the pack, very good if he takes it seriously

If you said that about Adebayor then there'd be problems...

Re: Your football side meets WWE
Agree on all the Brighton ones Nick
For Chelsea,
Cole = Jericho, quietly gets on with his job and is the best in the world at what he does whilst not being the biggest name in the team

Arsenal-
Laurent Koscielny- Daniel Bryan. Absolutely fantastic wrestler/defender, has brilliant matches week in week out, yet management/the media seem unaware of his enduring brilliance. Loved by internet fans.
Robin van Persie- CM Punk. The #1 guy, who has really stepped up to the mantle since the departure of others. Can be prone to the odd confrontation with the powers that be, and there have been lingering doubts about his future, but we need him to stay.
Theo Walcott- John Cena. Hardly a model of consistency when it come to match quality, but he is capable, despite the opinion of many 'experts', of raising his game to a truly world class level. The problem is, this doesn't happen nearly enough. The fans do tend to get on his back, but his ability makes him an asset, and he has the backing of management.
Nicklas Bendtner- Sheamus. This one's really worrying us now. One of the highest paid around, arrogant, and with friends in high places, but is utter cr@p IMO. That's not a popular opinion, but one I strongly believe in. Need to get rid ASAP, but it won't happen as management, and strangely some fans, really like him.

The way things are going for Ramsey, he's beginning to remind me of Drew McIntyre
Szczesny-Ziggler: cocky, arrogant, but backs it up week in week out and still has many years to go.

I'm a Q.P.R fan, and really couldn't think on this one!
Especially when it came to Joey Barton!
However, I did come up with one:
Shaun Wright-Phillips = Sin Cara - Fast and agile...just completely useless!
