When wrestling meets football....
Simple really, if wrestlers were football teams, who would be who? I've come up with a few to start off, but feel free to add your own-
Christian- Arsenal. There is little doubt that when on form, they are pretty unstoppable, but question marks have been raised about their ability to stay at the top, while there are even certain individuals who consider them too small to compete at the highest level, much to the annoyance of their fans.
John Cena- Man Utd. Loved by millions, hated by everyone else. It can be ugly at times, but it's impossible to deny, they get the job done. Whether you like it or not, they're going to be at the top for a while yet.
Alberto Del Rio- Man City. While some have been irritated by the way that they have abruptly strutted onto the scene whilst flashing the cash, you can't deny that they have main event written all over them.
The Miz- Chelsea. Loud. Brash. Abrasive. Arrogant. Sleazy. Say what you like about their attitude, the reality is that they can back it all up, and it's only a matter of time before their back at the top of the tree.
Undertaker- Liverpool. A true legend in the industry, with a list of accomplishments to match their billing. However, in recent years, they have looked a shadow of their former self, causing many to claim that they are merely living on former glories.
Big Show- Stoke. Big and ugly, and although their less-than-pretty-approach has earnt them many critics, you can't deny that it has been effective, and they have now consolidated their position at the top.

Zach Ryder - Aston Villa - Their fans think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Everyone else realises they are just pretty average.

Re: When wrestling meets football....
Sheamus - Chelsea/Man City - had a meatioric rise to the top.
Hulk Hogan - Liverpool - living off the past, still believing they can rise to the top.
Jeff Hardy - Blackpool - exciting to watch but reckless.
Eric Bischoff - Sepp Blater - both are morons.

Re: When wrestling meets football....
Shawn Michaels- Barca - Brilliant to watch but can be incredibly arrogant about it. Refs also tend to screw their opposition in big matches

Booker T - Liverpool. five time, five Time, Five Time, FIVE TIME, European Cup Winners.

Re: When wrestling meets football....
R Truth - Bolton - Previously one dimensional, mostly disliked and struggling at the bottom. Now with some recent changes safely mid table/card and not half as boring.

Re: When wrestling meets football....
Mark Henry- Blackburn- Not very pretty, but has managed to stay around for years now.
Funaki- Wigan- Everyone expects them to go down (released) but managed to stay up (employed). Doesn't quite apply anymore, but apprently Funaki was around for 12 years!
Triple H- Real Madrid- has advantages over clubs, and seems to have it all, but just can't better the other guy/team. (HBK/Barca.)

Here's a new one-
Wade Barrett- Millwall. Loud mouthed bully with no ability or talent, but brutal confidence ensures they stay in the spotlight. Nobody likes them, and they don't care.

I'm actually thinking Dolf, for the reasons NFC posted above, with Vicky playing the part of the board, who happily bend the rules and get away with it.
And I'm a QPR supporter....!

Stockport County - ECW: Daring and exciting club taken over and then completely obliterated into annihilation by another sporting company, but the fans still remember the 'good old days' with immense pride.
