Someone with more skill than me should put a load together on a word document as a guessing game.
For me though Hatton's sky blue, Tyson's jet black, Hearns' bright yellow. Not necessarily in that order.

Meldrick Taylor wore a sort of gimpy leather number when he lost his challenge to the Venezulan bloke, they scrapped the barrell of good taste, he probably borrowed them off Camacho.

Alexis Arguello worked Cornelius Boza-Edwards' body so severely that the Ugandan-Brit actually soiled his shorts towards the end of the fight, legend has it. Surely the title of the most catastrophic shorts belongs to Boza, then?

Re: Most iconic boxing shorts!
Was it Andrew "Six heads" Lewis who ran out of the ring to avoid the same fate even though he was winning handily at the time?

did that really happen or are you being faecesious? milky reaches for coat.
I suspect that boza's shorts looked better after the fight, than graham's looked before the fight with jackson. He deserved the brutal ko for crimes against fashion.

Arthur Abrahams went pretty much see through against Jermain Taylor, not a good look.

Re: Most iconic boxing shorts!
How about Pele Reid? he was hardly an icon but his shorts were funky! Supposedly knocked Vitali down during a kickboxing match?

Re: Most iconic boxing shorts!
Surely it has to be foreman red shorts, worn against Ali, but what made them iconic was the fact that he squeezed his fat self into them when on his 2nd hunt for heavyweight glory.

Re: Most iconic boxing shorts!
I've always liked Haye's trunks (Union Jack), Hattons Black and sequined trunks (with the Union Jack on the back) - though they are copied by everyone now.
Ali's White Everlasts, black trim.
Tysons short no nonsense black shorts.
Paquiaos Nike/No Fear with more sponsers than a F1 car?
