Your Favourite Iconic WWE Images.
Over the year, many classic and iconic wrestling images have been caught on camera. These images have become legendary and have captured the emotions and imagination of wrestling fans in the arena and around the world.
These are my personal favourites;
The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels @ Wrestlemania 25
The image of a stunned Undertaker after Shawn Michaels kicked out of a Tombstone Piledriver has become legendary among wrestling fans. The image not only captured the magic of Wrestlemania but also the magnitude of the match. Actions are known to speak louder than words and I feel this image alone speaks louder than any other promo of recent time.
The Rock vs Hollywood Hogan @ Wrestlemania X8
'ICON VS ICON' was the tagline of the match and of this Wrestlemania with the match living up to the hype that it set. The iconic moment of The Rock and Hogan staring each other down in the middle of the ring at the Toronto Skydome was a classic moment. Nobody could ever have imagined at that time that these 2 legendary wrestlers would face each other or that Hogan would ever return to the WWE.
The celebration of Benoit and Guerrero @ Wrestlemania XX
After Chris Benoit won his 1st ever World Heavyweight Championship in Madison Square Garden, Benoit's tears were flowing as he knelt to the floor. With the confetti falling from the sky, Guerrero and Benoit share an emotional embrace as they celebrate closing Wrestlemania XX both as champions. This image inparticular considering what has happened in recent times has become even more iconic than the ones above. A truly great moment in WWE history.
Blue Collar Worker vs The Corporate Nightmare @ RAW 13/2/99
The Austin-McMahon rivalry has made for many unforgettable moments which many wrestling fans will never, ever forget. I have picked this image from a special episode of 'Saturday Night Raw' in the Georgia Dome. Stone Cold has been picked to face the whole Corporation in a Gauntlet Match. Stone Cold is not only pinned but beaten by Mr Mcmahon. After the match, Austin is restrained in the turnbuckle corner by The Corporation as McMahon faces him and talks him down. The image of Stone Cold being pinned down by the corporation while McMahon stands proud in his face while belittling him is in my opinion, the perfect image to describe the Austin-McMahon rivalry.
Now, over to the rest of you. What are your favourite iconic images and why?

Foley grinning in the corner of the ring, a mouth full of blood and missing teeth in the hell in a cell match with Taker at King of the Ring in '98.

Mankind falling from the top of the cell.
Hogan slamming Andre.
Edge spearing Jeff from the ladder at TLC.
But probably my favourite image in wrestling history is Goldberg lifting The Giant for the Jackhammer on WCW. Amazing.

Great topic!
The ones that came to mind immediately as soon as I saw the topic were....
Hogan slamming Andre
Benoit & Eddie
Austin not quitting in Shatpshooter
Michaels says 'I love you' to Flair
Another favourite was the look on Bret's face & subsequent shot of Vince wiping spit from his face following the realisation of the Screwjob....
WCW one ... Hogan in a ring full of rubbish after joining the nWo
Favourite Austin McMahon image was either The Beer Truck bath he gave the corporation or when he pulled a trigger on Vince with a fake gun & McMahon wet himself

Some good ones so far and agree with all i know.
A more recent one for me at least was Christian at the top of the ladder getting the WHC.

Re: Your Favourite Iconic WWE Images.
Hogan handing the belt to Warrior @ Mania 6. The first real 'passing of the torch' in WWE.
HBK in the ring looking at the Title on his knee's after beating Bret @ Mania 12.
Austin in the Sharpshooter @ Mania 13, bloody dripping from his forehead, through his teeth and down his chin.
Austin/Tyson on Raw
This one might ruffle some feathers but The Nexus stood on the ring apron on the debut, surrounding Cena. Think that is the first time I marked out in a long time and definitley left a 'Holy Poopie' feeling.

Did he actually cry Steve or are you saying that figuratively? I never saw that part.AberdeenSteve wrote:John Cena crying at ECW One Night Stand! Will always live long in the memory!
2 of my 3 most iconic images involve Steve Austin. The bloody face at Mania 13 and when he shook McMahon's hand at Mania 17. The other one is Bret standing in the ring after Montreal.

Re: Your Favourite Iconic WWE Images.
The first stand off between The Warrior and Hogan at the 90 Rumble, Roddy Piper standing over Cyndi Lauper, Marty Jannetty's body heaped in a window on the Barber Shop, Bret Hart on the shoulders of his peers at WM10 while Owen looks on, Owen Hart on the middle rope with a Canadian flag at Canadian Stampede which didn't have much meaning at the time but became the image of rememberance, Austins blood soaked face refusing to give in
