Haye by Ko, but could equally see a points win and a pretty boring fight

I've gone Haye by KO, by which I mean Haye by stoppage, by which I mean Chisora will get DQ'd for butting / biting / somesuch, so Haye won't win and won't KO him, but there isn't an option for Haye by default.

Haye by KO. He has a point to prove and he will. After that he will KO Vitali setting a rematch with Wlad only to lose again.

I'll go Haye by TKO, ref stopping the fight with Chisora out of it but still on his feet

Tommy. Are you the old Tommy form 606 Beeb? I liked him.

Re: Haye v Chisora Poll
Haye by TKO for me. I think Chisora will be too one dimensional and will continually plod forward and catch Haye's single counters until one causes Chisora to wobble and allow Haye to get some courage and force the stoppage.
I see it being quite dull until it suddenly ends in exciting fashion.

Re: Haye v Chisora Poll
can't see a Chisora ko in a month of sundays, he's feather-fisted and Haye's taken much bigger shots and not gone down. With the 10 rounds I'd give Haye the nod as he'll do the cleaner work and be harder to land on however I'm not sure he has the power he end Chisora's night who is a tough cookie.
If Haye can ko Chisora it'll be over quick.

Can't see it being a boring fight with their clash of styles and personalities. By HW standards it will be a war.

When was the last time Haye was in a 'war'. He has a very conservative style and is pretty boring, hence why I never got the 'saviour of the heavyweights' thing he used to talk about

Less confident after the weights come through, but I've said Chisora KO for ages now so I'm not going back on it.
Haye points win wouldn't surprise me though.

When he fought Mormeck. If you stand off him he will carefully pick up points and win. But that is not chisora's style. He will come chugging forward forcing Haye to fight. You should be asking when the last time was that you say Chisora in a boring fight.

I think Haye will keep Chisora at distance, pump out the jab, some fast flashy combos, tie him up on the inside, and win on points. If he gets into a war with Chisora I think he'll be knocked out.

Unfortunately, I think Chisora is going to pull off the upset and beat Haye.
I hope not though because I really dislike Chisora. The word 'Scum' springs to mind!

It would be crazy for Chisora not to get himself in shape for this fight. If he is in shape - well he is a full blown heavyweight and I am not sure Haye will survive getting tagged on the chin a few times.

I remember Haye took about two clean shots but that was when he was going backwards. Wlad said he didn't get to land any peaches all night. Extremely negative fight from Haye who realised after 4 rounds he might as well just take the paycheck and avoid getting hurt.

Re: Haye v Chisora Poll
I just cannot imagine Del Boy knocking out Haye.
Regardless of whether or not Wlad landed anything resembling a peach of a shot on Haye...the fact is Haye ate a fair few jabs that night..
I would say they are heavier than anything Del Boy can land!! Im not even sure where this idea that Chisora has power comes from,
He couldn't put Helenius to bed..and the two names he has knocked out...
Williams...well he has been knocked senseless a few times.
Sexton - Granted hadn't been stopped before him but I saw Chisora get caught enough in that fight against a C level operator to not make me question the outcome of this one.
People wonder whether Haye has taken his power upto Heavyweight but if you look at the stats it's hard to argue he hasn't.
Of his 5 opponents only 2 went the distance. One was Wlad...and we all know cracking his defence is not easy. The other was a guy who was about half a foot taller and weighed in 100lbs heavier....
And he rocked the guy!!
Haye doesn't have the same concussive power at Heavyweight...but definitely has enough to stop Chisora in his tracks when he comes bearing forward like a dozy bull!!..
I see Haye stopping him within 6 rounds.....assuming he wants too. He may just enjoy beating him senseless!

Chis is a soft puncher and Haye took heavier shots from Wlad.

Re: Haye v Chisora Poll
Haye will take him out of there within 5 I reckon. I expect Chisora to labour forward, bobbing and weaving his head but he looks like he thinks the heavier he is the harder he will hit.
Haye will look to fight on the back foot with counter punches with plenty of haymakers thrown in. IMO, he will have too much for Del Boy. I hope he knocks him out. Chisora is a low life scum bag, disgusting human being with zero sportsman like conduct.

Re: Haye v Chisora Poll
Boxing isn't as simple as "Haye didn't get knocked out by Wlad. Wlad hits harder than Chisora. Thus Chisora can't KO Haye."
For a start a large part of it is range. If Chisora stops Haye it will be due to an accumulation of shots all over while he's right in Haye's face. Not single jarring shots from far away that Haye's reflexes can save him from.
Also, if Haye's pecs and biceps are burning with lactic acid and he's gasping for air having not been able to keep up the pace, it won't matter that Chisora's not a big puncher. If Chisora wears him out enough he'll be able to push him over. Heavy handed or not, he weighs nearly 250 pounds. He can hurt you, and Haye's no Chuvalo.

haye rocking valuev is a total myth. valuev tripped, its clear to see. haye does have more power than chisora though. chisora has a fantastic chin though. ive gone for haye on points. chisoras only chance is to take shots and keep coming and hope to wear haye down into exhaustion. haye cant fight for 3 minutes every round.

Tripped? Come on Lance, that punch turned his legs to jelly, tripping doesn't do that.

Chisora will push him mighty close, i know that much. Haye is inactive, lacks stamina, at times, and is relying on power over skill. Chisora has a great chin.

Do you thInk the 10 rounder will favour Haye therefore Davide? Less chance of him gassing in the later rounds therefore can go more hell for leather in the early-mid rounds.

10 rounds definately favours haye more than chisora. thats why haye refused the offer to go 12.

I can honestly see Chisora come flying out of the block and throw everything at Haye, if Haye can keep him at distance for around three rounds then i can see Haye cleaning up a tired Chisora, by way of KO, in 7 rounds.

Re: Haye v Chisora Poll
I think Haye will do a Ruiz on Chisora. He'll knock him down early then pound him til the ref steps in.
Of course, Ruiz was better than Chisora, even aged 38, and not as mad as a box of frogs...
The only other way I see it is Chisora gets DQ'd for doing something bonkers.
