Just by the by I didn't get up exclusively for the hurling draw, it was an attempt at sarcasm which fails without emoticons. Anyway, the Blahs up next for us. We have won games well whilst playing absolute shoite, and we have a big game in us, I see no reason why we can't beat Waterford, I don't know if we have to play our best but we will certainly have to play well. Galway in the semi I think it would be assuming we go through, I think we could take them, assuming the KK game was a one off........

Can't call Cork Waterford. KK by 6-10 points id say...................
Galway have been famous for great perfrmance followed by average performance the last few years.............under this management though, i like the look of them..........
A KK Tipp semi would be savage

Cork v De Blahs is really fifty fifty. Galway could easily get to the final if things go right, are they number one? Not yet, Tipp are still ahead.

I was hoping for a Cork -v- KK but Limerick should give them a good game. Tire them out before they meet Tipp.
What about the Tipp footballers beating a highly fancied Wexford. Antrim in the next round. Tipp should win that and they are in the quaters for the first time since Noah was a sailor.

Oh how could I forget yesterday.
Tipp Munster champions in senior and minor hurling AND Munster champions in the minor football.
Easy enough game for Tipp yesterday.

Good weekend for Tipp GAA. Nice weekend for Cork sport as we have a world title winner in boxing too.
Tipp footballers will probably get killed by anyone decent but would be nice for them to get to the QF.

Cheek, have you ever seen Tipp play? Not a whole lot of difference between them and Antrim. Beat Offaly by 5 having missed a penalty. They were hesitant against Wexford yesterday when they had 2 goal chances on, went for points instead. They have plenty of talent, just need the confidence to match that talent.

Antrim aren't decent. We're talking top 4/5 counties. They will beat Antrim and are a decent outfit but are a good 2/3 years away from causing serious waves.

Sorry, just saying, Tipp could be one of those few counties who can compete in two codes in a few years time though. Was only joking around even if I'm telling the truth. A bit like Keano.....

Re: 14/7 and 15/7 & 21/7 and 22/7 GAA Action
Got my tickets for the Ulster final. Its been a long time since Clones has been a good place for Down and inconsistency has been a trade mark for to long. More hopeful than confident.
Ulster final losers play winners of Antrim/Tipp qualifier. With due respect not the hardest route for Donegal or Down into a Q/F.
Cant see Meath beating the Dubs despite the Royals last day out. The Dubs seem to get the breaks in Croker.
No mention of Down winning their first Ulster minor hurling title since 1994. Lots of the winning panel from clubs outside the Ards stronghold. Maybe Tipp wont be the only new dual team in a few years

Agree. A Filthy game, one of the filthiest i'vev seen.....the last 10 minutes in particular with the Kerry sub who should have been sent off and a lot of cowardly late hits by tyrone players.
Surprised Tyrone didn't go down with more dignity than that.......................

I know they beat a relatively poor Tyrone outfit but I would be quite nervy about facing Kerry . They could cause us problems. Would think we could take them, I'm of the belief that we can only beat ourselves like last year but Kerry were good going forward . Tyrone didn't offer enough of a threat in attack to cause the defence serious trouble but Kerry looked suspect at times

By next weekend, Tipp will have played 4 games in 4 weeks, so stop moaning and get on with it.
I take it you are happy with your status in the sterling zone then?

You're a fickle GAA fan then. Once your team is out or all the northern teams are out, you lose interest in the season. Is that what it's about for you, must beat the southerners.
Don't follow your second statement.

when did i say i lose intrest? the fact i dont care who wins dosent mean i have no intrest in how it unfolds. if tyrone out then id love ta see underdog win it. as if southerners dont see it as their championship that thy dont hate it when sam goes north.
being happy or not with status is political nothing to do with gaa/sport.

NI. What class of Gael are you. I suppose you dont understand that the playing and following of gaelic games is an integral part of our cultural identity up here but why would you. For my part I will support any of the Nine Ulster counties against others.
