Its also a matter of time before Chavez Jr is next to be exposed from wildcard, Roach seems to not preach or teach defense, as a fighter himself roach had no defense, imo he doesn't have the skill set to teach it. Roach's whole concept is attack attack and attack, that's what the whole mitt punching routine is all about. It's only one of the training methods used in the gym but Roach's entire training is based on punching the mitts.

He has to move his head when in the pros he does not have headgear on anymore. Khan has the tools to beat some decent fighters but Garcia is not elite by any stretch of the imagination. Just think what Bradley would do to him OMG its not even funny is it and Khan reckoned Bradley was ducking him.

I would not be afraid to face Khan and I am not in the great shape that Bradley is in. At the end of the day a new trainer might help sure things up but that chin and lack of ability to fight back or survive when hurt cannot be taught.

Wow didn't think Garcia had that kind of power, Maidana couldn't put Khan down despite hitting him cleanly a few times. Garcia vs Maidana would be a cracking shoot out.

What a shock, just finished watching it. Garcia has VERY heavy hands, cracking shot and thank god it didn't hit flush, would have been a hatton esque situation if he had been caught flush.

Macho man Khan shows his head again. Its the reason I dislike him strongly, he's become so arrogant and seems to think he's entitled to the pound for pound king and saying mayweather is slowing and he could take him, it seems it takes a defeat like this to bring him back down to earth, just like Prescott.

Yeah I agree. Khans sense of entitlement in boxing is second to none. He feels he is "special" and he is not that good in all honesty. Thats just my opinion .

So deflated today, you could see the power difference and Garcia was happy to take Khans 3-4 shots and then land his own bomb. He was right that timing beats speed. I would think Marquez and Mayweather would have done the exact same thing.

Put's it into prospective, mind you he almost went during the Maidana fight, the legs did the funny wobble and they resurfaced once again.

Khan has become ridiculously arrogant, calling himself 'King' Khan yet hasn't done anything of note, basically calling Mayweather out, making excuses about Peterson.

What you on about? I didn't know much about Garcia so I wasn't expecting him to hit so hard that's all. He's clearly a heavy puncher, no illegality about it stop jumping to conclusions, I can't stand Khan.

Where on earth did we mention anything illegal, I think both of us were just surprised as to how hard the guy can hit, unbelievable.

Puts into perspective how good Khan is, Garcia struggled with a faded Morales and then he blasted out Khan. Either Khan isn't that good or Garcia raises his game for the big occasions.

Agreed, we underestimated his punching power completely.

I don't think and have never thought Khan was that good. He thinks he's better than he is, and showed once again that against top level guys he can't hack it. I still don't think Garcia is anywhere near the top top level fighters of this world, but his punching power and the fact he is only 24 means there is plenty of time to mature and improve his game, very bright future, unlike Khan.

BF, think the only difference is Morales can take a punch and Khan can't. People can talk change of trainers, tactics or whatever for Khan but he is always going to have that accident waiting to happen thing around him because he just does not have a chin, a new trainer may improve his defence but he is probably too old to become water tight defensively. Fair play to Garcia though, when the chance come he was all over Khan and deserved the win, as I thought Khan was fortunate to be allowed to continue in the third.

Good point, although I thought Morales was out boxing Garcia a lot of the time as well.

Sometimes I wonder how he made it this far with such a lack of guile. Think it will be very tough to come back from this and he will probably be like Vargas or Judah - not quite there.

Khan was doing well for 2 rounds and 150 seconds but then whack! Garcia has huge power that I, many others and probably Khan himself underestimated. Khan will probably move up to WW now, but a fight with Mayweather? No way.

As Jeff mentioned, unfortunately no trainer is going to change Khan's chin, his blessed with ability and speed but his chin looks like china im afraid.

Khan seems to think his some macho fighter aka Manny Pacquaio, I watched the behind the ropes programme on Weds, with Amir sparring and I was concerned then the amount of hard clean shots he was taking.

I'm not sure what he takes from this. because he isnt blessed with power and soon as he sits on his punches his open to be cracked and taken out, still some money and big fights out there for him, however confidence must be an all time low.

Khan has to question whether he can really be the best he can be under Roach. He's needs to go to Steward in my opinion, the guy teaches the best jab in the business and it is something khan is drastically lacking.

Possibly hampo, but what happens when someone gets past that jab, he has no inside game whatsoever and thats his main problem for me, thats why we see the pushing.

Roach was the best thing sliced bread no so long back, even if he had Blackburn, Arcel, Futch and Dundee in camp, his chin doesnt seem to pass the test, meaning any fighter who goes in with him has a chance.
